Final Marshals

So here is the question to the marshals, who do you want promoted in the other classes, and when do you want them promoted? Its time we made the group complete for the moment

Hunters: Greatdanes
Mages: Deadlyspirit
Paladins: Mazii
Rogues: Nefrion, Asmoden
Warlock: Sazgul
Priest: Sebas
Druid: Octain, Oshun
Warrior: Siffredi

The ones in italic need deciding still or replacement (As deadly is stepping up he cant do raidleading anymore as discussed, but you will also need a new mage classleader)

This post be made cause due to repeated pokeing it seams there is still no official list of ppl you guys want promoted, note that the Field Marshals are expecting you to make your own calls on who to join your group and the defender rank now. As of now there has been no new marshals for close to a month.

I can only say one thing here.

It is direct imposible to contact those ppl. Mail they dont answar, and you cant catch them online in game.

So that is the simple answar on why you guys have not yet heard anything.

I have been trying to catch, octain, oshun, sebas, asmoden, nefrion the last week now without luck.

What goes for mages, I thing backblock is the closest to take over that job, but yet not talked with him about it.

I would propose Oneangel as a CL for Priests.  He knows the fights, has levelled several different characters to 60 so has good all round knowledge of class roles and is good on TS.  I've also known him for a while on dMw so I know he's a sensible character and not an a-hole.  Might be worth having a chat with him?  He's on these forums as DarkAngel.

Elenionet - She'll be back - I think.
Mirriana - Soldier, untill he gets back.
Suria - Soldier
Pilgaard - Lets give him a chance to correct. And lets help him in the right direction.
Bunfur - I say lets keep him as Defender. Id like to hear if he plans to play more, tho he might be preventet cauz work.
Priori - Soldier, he plays, but dosent raid.
Yliana - Soldier
Werful - Like to hear from him first, will he play or not?
Sheperdbook - Soldier
Odesa - Keep her, and see if she can fullfill the attendance req.
Asmoden - Lets see what the future brings. Think he wants to join RG1 as his GF is there (same raids days - Jariuna btw.)
Jemeny - Lets see what the future brings
Lusken - Soldier, lets get a better attendance rogue
Eärwen - Soldier, lets get a better attendance rogue
Gilzuur - Keep him, and see if he can fullfill the attendance req.
Orthbarty - Keep him, and see if he can fullfill the attendance req.

how did all that promotion / demotion sneak into this marshals promotion thread?

and this is all nice and so, but i think marshals need to sit down and have a chat with one another like the RG1 officers do before each raid.

Also a request to deadly, please post in here or in a new thread if you get any new applicants for class lead, or if you spoken with the ppl your looking to contact. And as far as those go i think neferion and octain saw the post i made so they should be looking for you by now.

/agree TL, Oneangel seems like a nice guy, and not an possible a-hole as you describe it. Think we should get a hold of him, and hear if he's hooked on CL / possible RL?

As for other CL, Nefrion vs. Asmoden.. I'd say Nefrion if he can keep up req. for this position.

Druids; Octain / Oshun - Im not sure here. Any of you have any "closer knowledge" of either Octain / Oshun?

GD, I read it like Officers want Marshall to take 'full' control over RG2 regarding new Defenders joining RG2.

And the lack of a list, hmm I wasent aware of you guys wanting Marshalls to decide.

How about a short post on the exeact terms of a Marshall tasks?    I would sure love to see one on that - Nice to have a complete list, and also to show newcomers. (ofc someone has more tasks than others - But I could sure take on the task of controlling RG2 personal for example  :devil:  )

Don't think that is true, Deadly.

I have seen almost all of them online the last couple of days, and I have only been online for like 3 hours.

Oneangel for Priests, because we can count on him in RG2
Nefrion for Rogues, because we can count on him in RG2
Octain/Oshun, don't know.

And as a new CL for the mages I think Ubar or Backblock should be taken into consideration as they are good mages and have a really nice attendance. Btw, they know eachother IRL.

Furthermore, I see ALOT of RG1 people trying to get a spot in RG1 and it kind of bothers me. We are trying to build a good raidgroup and so many people actually wanna leave doesnt make that good.

As talked about in the last chat, yes, you guys have to discuss promotion, and recruitment for defender rank, coming from that also new marshals are for you to decide. (But please dont pick all danisch ppl  :narnar: ) This frees up more time for us, and makes your control over riads better (we dont know many ppl in RG2 like you guys know them, we cant tell whois doing a bang up job, or whois doing nothing).

The comment GD quoted is par result of me, if you read through the other marshals recruitment/promotion thread youll see that i tried to get you 5 to discuss marshal applicants a few times by asking for who you guys wanted in. this didnt go much beyond getting a few ppl replying w/ own opions about the applicants, but i dont think you ever talked about it in hernest.

As for a list, i dont really have one, but these points are pritty high:

• Helping in setting up and leading of raid (including, but by no means limited to queue, dkp, attendance)
• Explaining new fights and what to do to members of your class, also making calls on resistance levels to aim at (ask menedil, i do this all the time)
• Helping in making decissions about raid group 2
• Deciding on guildinvites for defender rank
• Deciding on initates for defender rank
• Deciding on promotion of new marshals if a spot is free

Think you mean RG2 -> RG1 aye?  

I also find this very disturbing, it's still like RG1 is some kind of heaven for some RG2 members. I still see many people from RG2 seeking RG1 spots as taking the easy way out - they havent fought their way into BWL, and learned it the hard way.

- I find myself thinking "they dont deserve it", Id like to see people "earn" their way forth.

Some of these defenders joined only to be able to step up in due time, as was promissed to them when they first joined, seeing now its not working too good we changing the invite system. Maybe RG1 should accept some low spec members in, they will gain equip fast, and RG1 can much better cope with the loss of a few members (see RG2 members joining BWL when RG2 was only just starting, no offense ment, but back then your kit was crap compared to now)
