The Map Committee - Volunteers Required

If you have a broadband connection AND are coming to the dMw LAN III in May, then it might just be possible that you could save a life.
OK, so that last bit was an exageration, but you can help.

I need some volunteers to help:

(1) Create a register of CS maps including links to a download site.
(2) The register will be split in to manageable chunks and a certain number of maps will be given to each volunteer each week to download.
(3) The downloaded maps will be burnt onto CDs (the CDs will be provided for you) and sent to me for storage.
(4) By 10th May (first day of dMw LAN III) I will then have put together a Gargantuan Map Pack.
(5)  The GMP will be put into a leech folder on one of the servers and all can download it as required.
(6) Anyone else who wants the GMP will have to PM me after the LAN and I'll sort them out a CD.

So I need 10 volunteers.  I reckon that is enough to get the project started and I reckon we have the time before the LAN to get it done.

If you want to contribute to this project then please post here and I'll PM you with details when we have things set up properly.  As I am on BT's infamous narrowband I won't be doing any downloading myself, but I am happy to manage the project and keep peeps on track and up to date with their download lists etc.

Myself i don't see the point in downloading hundreds os megabytes of stuff that will never be used and will just sit there clogging up my hard drive and wasting valuable porn space.

 and so I can do the download stuff with my Eclipse ADSL. I'm not at the LAN but I can burn whatever you like on discs and post them wherever you want.
