The Marshal job.

In my understanding of the Marshal's job they are suppose to handle things like - new Marshal's, applications to RG2, peoples behaviour and playing style ect.
But I feel some Marshal's is forgetting this and only focus on raiding. Every time I see Marshal's logon 5-10-15-20 min after we was suppose to meet so we could discuss things and 2 sec after a raid is called they have left the channel again so we are not able to discuss things not regarding the raid.

Why are we discussing BWL when we can't handle the jobs we already have?

One of the problems is that you often call a meeting less than 12 hours before you want the meeting.  Plan ahead.

Another issue is that you often have to meet on non-raid days to get through the volume of stuff needed.

Finally, remember us poor UK chaps are still at work at the time you wanted to meet yesterday - making it home in time for a 19.15 raid invite is tough enough without someone calling a meeting at 18:30 with less than 6 hours notice.

I was told to meet on raid days 18.45 so we did have a ½ hour to discuss things, so I think it is plan ahead. It is to this time Marshal's are late.

hehe TL well, its not only you UK chaps that are working late.
 
My normal workschedule is
mon-wed   09.00-18.00 (tho most mondays is 08.30)
thurs-fri    09.00-18.30
sat           09.00-14.30
 
So im finding it just as hard to meet 30 min before raid, cuz a man's gotta eat also :biggrin:
 
GD, we should just plan a bit more ahead, and we might wanna have all post when they will have a hard time getting logged in time, or might even plan during the weekends (saturday?)
 
- But it would help A LOT if Marshalls would log on TS whenever they play (I do so) - that way we are easier to get a hold off.
 
I log asap when I come home from work. And that beeing as close to 18.45 as possible.
