Approved too lewt? Incident in AQ20

Tonight in AQ20 we had the one of the best pants ingame drop from Ossirian... The leggings of the black blizzard...
I rolled for the pants and rolled second... Ravenn highest.. Due we have a rule stating that Mains gets pri on Ossi/Hakkar loot(changes with new system) i won... But then i got 3-4 people wisping me stuff like WTF i was doing rolling on those pants when i got T2, why is i was so tarded and so on...
I got ****ed and sad and passed them to spi who was next in line..
Why the feck am i not allowed to get better pants.. Trust me when i say those pants would actually give me a higher dps than NW...
NW actually isnt that good.. But why should i defend my right to get lewt...
Isnt it as much my right to improve my gear?

Edit: I had the option to make a ticket and get a GM to move the pants to me, but after talking with Spi i decided not to, cause it wouldnt be fair to spi..

Speaking partialy for myself here and partialy as my position as 1 of the 20 man raid leaders.

IF i see this happening again i will ban ppl for doing this. Nicely asking why you want those pants and the roller explaining it is diffirent then wtf are you rolling for those you have (insert litem here). This makes me mad to some point you do not want to know.
Raiding is for fun and not for these kinda things. Discussing loot is a good thing, but this was not discussing, IMO this was saying you dont need i need more GIB. I am still pretty angry while i am writing it and tbh i wanted to use some stronger language here. I choose not to do so but if i see it again, start running!!!!!!!.

Ppl sometimes seam to forget that the commanders are ppl too, and good ppl too, giving a lot of time and energy into leading 20 man instances, and for that they deserve the same respect as the field marshals. This game is about playing with friends, getting some nice items along the way and just having a good time, NOT about trying to scare as many ppl out of the guild as you can :blink: If you have a problem with loot distribution, feel free to make a post on the forums to discuss it after the run (like greatdanes did with the gun), till then dont make a fuss, and remember that the items might be rare, but they will drop again.

PS, Flaming other members, officer, commander, or just normal members will happen at severe risk to your ability to reproduce normaly. If any1 has any problems, please contact me, preferably with screens. You have been warned :norty:

I hear ya, but it was kinda sad that Kreg didn't stand for those pants, might not drop in another decade.
If rules apply for every then I'm also like everyone so there will not be any further discusion about loot, but I've seen guilds where there are a private club and those dudes get the first sets always, this guild is not one of those kind.
I have had nice time with you guys and really like things to be the way there are. can't understand why some people don't respect the rules.

You guys ( Commanders and officers ) are doing a great job maintaning this, keep up the good work

I'd just like to say that. T2 sucks so bad I DE'd them and use my FR leggings instead. Those leggings are the best leggings you can get before AQ40 so he defienently had the right to roll on that.

Also, gratz on the leggings m8 :smile:

I believe others have allready made the point clear. I will leave it at pointing out that I do not want to see this happen again. If loot really is so important to you that you would flame another member for wanting it, then you may leave.

On another note I belive the new system soon implemented by the Commanders will not open for discussion on loot at all. So let's hope it will be done soon. I know the Commanders have put in a lot of work on this and especially Menedil has taken a few late nights to make the raids more enjoyable for you.

This time, I was top roller, followed by Kreg and Spi. It would have been a major upgrade for all of us. I was on my alt, so without the new system in place I had no chance of getting it. But even with the new system Kreg would have beaten me fair and square. However Spi would not have. It is dissapointing at most, and really shouldn't matter. We are one guild and we are all friends right?

I will get them eventually anyways. Keep in mind, even though I may play my alt there, I'm still there doing a part of the raid spending my time there. Seeing the new system I applaud that even those playing alts get recognition for time and effort spent. Even if I need to work twice the amount to get the same rewards, there is still a reward at the end of it.

Upon reading this thread I thought to my self if some person have problems with me getting specific loot and they start flaming me I will ask them to stop in RAID channel....... If they don't I'll make sure I post some screenies with chat log in it.....

It's up to the officers then to decide what to do with it.

I think Kreg should send the screenies to the officers anyhow (if he hasn't already done so), so they know who it is - and they can take action if they feel like it. Cause this kind of behavior makes me sick, and it's not something we want in SOG :angry:

Back to the topic!

The new loot system is close to perfect, its simply brilliant.

About the flamming, i dont see how flamming would help anyone other than the officers to be better to decide if youre about to leave the guild with maybe a little help.

A note or the like. appointing the problem you got would only be fair, seeing as T2 "should" be better than 20 man loot, because of the avability. but in some cases Blizz fails to comply

Agreed here. A lot of ppl seem to think tier 2 is the best set atm excluding tier 3 ofc. HOWEVER this is not the case. The drops in ZG/AQ20 are sometimes on par or even better, those pants beeing an example. For a healing example look at jindo's evil eye.

Now this matter has been handled by kreg. But if we see the same happening again those will be screenshotted and posted.
