Be Advised - About Soalra

I had a long talk with Soalra last night about mod'n'stuff. Basically he considers it "cheating" to use mods to enchance gameplay. The whole thing started when i asked him to install Decursive addon, and he said no: "i dont do mods". Then i asked how he could have CTRAID installed but then he just mumbled something back saying bla bla whatever.
 
So i told him that i felt he was going against the guilds wishes and he might consider leaving the guild alltogether if we decide to force him to install decursive.
 
He is gonna be there tomorrow for AQ40 and see how that goes, but i wanted to give you a heads up, so you have a chance to decide for yourselves if you want to make it a raid requirement or not. Its not listed in our official guild recruitment requirements, but in my opinion it should be a "must have" for all druids, paladins, mages and priests

as its not currently a raid requirement its not much we could do about it other then strongly urge him to use it.
 
As for cheating, i dont like UI mods like threatmeter myselfs, takes what little fun a rogue has (testing how far you can go) away. allthough, i might get it for sok. Some stuff like decursive is very sweet to have though

Well if he doesn't do mods, then he will be a serious handicap for us on bosses like Chromaggus and the bug trio in AQ40. I would guess he isn't able to keep up with removing poison and clensing as fast as someone using decursive. At least he wouldn't be able to concentrate on much else.:unsure:
