Loads of BF2problems out there

Tonight I lost connection 7 times to a server.
This ended up in me receiving my Golden Expert KnifeBadge 3 times and I reckon that next time I'll join a server I'll receive it again.

The 1.3 patch is messed up - loads of people report CTD, server crashing  is regular, little glitches - however the 1.4 patch is due for imminent release and finally EA are doing it right - they are actually gasp beta testing it with the BF2 community (OBC as one of the largest bf2 clans are helping them with this) and rather than rushing the latest patch out are ensuring it works -  obc guys report it also speeds up frame rates and takes less time to verify so it souns like they might have optimised some of the code too. I'm particularly looking forward to the new 'infantry only' option.

Also if you don't patch bf2 in the correct order it doesn't want to play and then theres all the hacks out there now!

Ah okay. Last night I was going for my Veteran Explosives Ordinance Badge, I got 13 claymorekills and then got disconnected from the server (so I needed 7 more for it). There were still 120 tickets left <_<.
I received my Golden Expert KnifeBadge now for the 4th time. Atleast it's now on my statspage.
Last night I had again floating tanks and APC's.
Hope they get it sorted properly then.
Good job that they speed up the verificationprocess.
Must say that once in a while the red name bug still shows up.
 
And about the hacks, I saw this 1 guy switching different kits.:blink: He went from AT to Support and ended up a medic and then revived me. And I was the only dead guy around, no other kits laying around.

Loads of hacks out there now,

- the 1,000,000 jeep drop hack
- one that allows anyone to be commander and use RT/supplies/jeeps infinitely with no time delay
- knife hack - hacker sees you other side of the map puts his curser over you and knifes you!
- sniper weapons on full auto and unlimited ammo
- hacks that shoot you into the air and parachute down to allow you to reach highest buildings
- usual aimbots/invincibility etc
- Karkand hotel hack, drive a vehicle into the hotel building get inside hotel and shoot people from inside building - they can't see hacker but can get shot by them

I've allready posted something about Cartillery here yeah.
To reach higher buildings and so, I've played on a server where FF was off and the Spec-Opps planted C4 and then they'd blow them selfs up on to the high buildings.:blink:  My SL did this and when I spawned on him I found myself on the Hotel of Karkand.
The one about the car, this one is so anoying. The other day I guy was in there who kept spamming nades and got loads of kills.
 
I still have no idea why people like doing that though. Getting the medals and such through the normal way is much more satisfiying and it's rather going well for me. Just check it again :wink:
