I see my room reservation confirmation shows that a reservation for dinner may be necessary before arrival? Surely we need another thread for a dinner seating plan?

Yeah, I wondered about that too. I guess their restaurant is getting more popular.

Maybe it's a kitchen thing, they need to factor in the pie demand on the night.

I don't recall there being pie on their menu! That would be fantastic... Steak pie and mash with loads of onion gravy :dribble:

Sheepy appears and begins to stroke my head. According to his slurred drunken speech I am "lovely and like a fuzzy felt". Thankfully he soon leaves and passes out somewhere. [/quote]

room booked, hoping to work out some form of transport...and maybe get a "real" job lined up...
...I guess I can carry my monitor on a train these days ... but the case is too bloody heavy ...

islington, just off city road, minute or two by car from old street roundabout?
...how early?

caveat: not a great drive in from the m25 early on a weekday though I would imagine...

heh, a true early riser eh?
thanks muchly for the offer, but it'd be a pain for you getting off/on the m25 and suchlike, besides, if I could make it to the outskirts with my monitor, pc and bags then I could make it to the train station :flirty: ...I'll work something out!

Cadaver

Chaps,

With regret I'm having to pull out of attending LAN X.

I'll be cancelling my reservation at the Oliver Cromwell when I get home this evening, so there should be a spare double room going later if anyone needs it.

Have fun.  And don't let that DuVeL bloke pass out in the corridors again...
