Loot Priority

Since last night i have thought about this and might have a good solution to this problem, if you want to call it a problem.

I saw a plugin was made for the EQDKP system when browsing thier forums, that have tables that show priorities on all items dropping in the 20 and 40 man instances, its called Loot Priority and helps MLs determine who gets the items. So if members/officers agree id like to see us use this.

Theres only 1 problem, its dependant on another EQDKP mod called ItemStats and i cant get that to work atm. so if we are going to use this we will either have to wait for updates of ItemStats or use the website Loot Priority uses to pull its information from, www.wow-loot.com.

Looks like they are about to issue it as a package, so might be worth waiting for. Personally I'm not too bothered which system we use so long as we get them god-damn complaining stopping :tongue:

I'm kinda ok with the DKP is DKP. It wil woork better as soon as the DKP imbalance ewens out.

that imbalnce wont even out in the near future and with this system there will be combined max dkp and priority.

Tanales, any chance of getting Itemstats to work? That way at least we can consider this as a viable alternative for discussion.

We had this problem two months back over the same blade and personally I'm at the stage now where I am happy to try something different to see if it is a better system. This combination seems as good as any so why not give it a try and use it for say the next month as a trial?

As i got a new pc now i can see what i can do about getting ItemStats to work.
Got plenty of schoolwork to do though...

Edit: There shouldnt be much of a problem to install itemstats, its been updated since last time i tried to get it to work.

bought it from Komplett.se, only modification i did was to switch the OS to WÃnXP Pro

What version of vBulletin is this forum running?
ItemStats can be run on Vbulletin also, that why im wondering.
