OK I give up waiting for the 1.4 patch <_<

I don't even know what I am downloading, other than it runs on BF2 :blush2:

Edit: Just read the other posts! Oooh.. If only I had internet at home :sad:

Extract the zip file you download to a single location - you should end up with 2 big files and some smaller crappy html/txt files. Of the two big files one should be an exe and the other should be a cab file. As long as they are both in the same folder you can proceed:

Run the exe and do as it tells you installing to the "mods" folder wherever that is on your computer. It will automatically setup the maps for you and create a shortcut for you :)

If anyone finds they have no sound in BF2 or it's mods after installing PoE (as happened to me) then it is a real easy fix. Just start BF2 (or PoE) and BEFORE connecting to server setup the correct sound device again (my install had deselected my Creative card)
