Hi people,

Well, it was nice to see how we did took down Razorgore yesterday night in our 5th try, its allways nice to kill the motherf....Great job for all of RG2 members.

It has been a very long time since the last day i was able to raid, vacations and work stuff prevented me from joining in the schedduled times for raids, 1 month has passed and now im ready to raid again!

What i to post here is two facts the occurred yesterday and i need some clarification in order to setup my thoughts.

1: Delay times between fights: this was a real problem yesterday. I understand a certain amount of time between fights to order strategy, to rest a little, to clarify things to newer members, etc... But yesterday the media of waiting was about 20 min after each try, which makes that in the 3 hours we where in BWL (from 19:30 to 22:30 that makes 180 min) we waisted about 140 min just standing there and waiting! I think this is quite unfortunate, i suppose this problem was only yesterday regarding to casual problems, but i understand 140 min just standing there looking the screen is "quite boring", no?

2: BWL Progress: yesterday was 22:30 in the night, we had took down Razorgore and Vael was down to 7% in our first try, and a little high on our second try. We had wasted a repair bot just 30 min before in order to be prepared for the fight, and suddently, after second try the raid was called and everybody went to onyxia lair...and BWL will reset tonight... Well, it seems a little contradictory to me the fact that we need to progress in BWL and when we manage to get to Vael and we are ready to try and try until the dragon is down, the raid is called to go to get some tier 2 headpieces from Ony...Yesterday i spent a large amount of time preparing for the raid (refreshing tactics and so) as same as farming a lot to get prepared with some Major Fire Protection pots, Wizard Oil and Arcane elixir, and in our second try to Vael everything is over...till next monday when we have to kill razorgore again....I suppose there is a good reason comiing from Oneangel, Siffredi or Sazgul for this but i understand that killing Vael yesterday (or at least trying to kill him untill hell freezes or our armor goes 0%) was more important than going Ony (specially when Ony could be done thrusday after the MC run).

Just some thoughts, dont want to flame no one or so, ok? many thanks for all, have a nice day, regards!

I guess the main reason for this is that Onyxia will reset before thursday, so we can kill her again then. So the reasoning is to get the most kills on Onyxia.

Using a repair bot, being at vael shortly before reset and evidently having time to spend (at ony) to me says get Vael down no questions.

Zabard, getting an extra ony kill is nothing compared to a 1st vael kill or indeed any vael kill

I think we had a really good try last nite.

Razor: we got some new peeps each time so we do use some time preparing for that fight but I do believe that we shortly will master the fight in 1 try. This is actually a strait forward fight when peeps know what to do. Then we have the whole nite at vael.

Vael: I am as eager as you to nail this dude down, and as some here really really want to have another raid day to progress on. I admit that it was incredible long waiting time last nite, that we can/must cut down. That means that all peeps are dedicated and stay online, (afk is a no go here). Maybe the marshalls can point out clearer that we want to get the next try going faster. Last nite we was 4 warr, maybe that was the reason why we did go for ony, when we had several good tries at vael. We got the peeps do take him so hopefully we will shortly.

And do not dear to go to bwl this thursday and nail vael if that is the big surprise. I cant come and will be mad if im not there the first time:devil:

My two copper would be.....

If there are new people let the Class Leader talk them through tactics. I myself forgot to explain Benelib and Lovercraft about the positions of the paladins during the Razorgore fight. My bad I say.

Also they ask me (I'm gald about that) what to do now and when.

So I would say let a class leader talk them through tactics via the class channel or whispers.

I agree, if you dont know what to do, ask someone who does. Since i've just started raiding with my mage, I know the kills as I have done them on my warrior, but im still not 100% sure on what to do as a mage, so I ask, im sure people wont mind spending a couple of minutes going through things, rather than spending 10 minutes rezzing again after wiping, having big repair bills and wasting potions, when it could have been avoided

i think we should stripe to have ubmost 5 min break between wipes. not more. I dont know why we had to wait 20 min. but its not nessesairy. If you think you did somting rong, wisper some one from you class that done it before and ask him. takes les then 2 min to axplain and were set to go agan. whast of time

Guys we do what we can to ensure RG2 succes in BWL, and also we are very aware of cutting back on wait time. This will come the more we are in BWL, and im sure you'll all be happy within a very short period of time. Not to worrie. And thank you for your input. I think thursday will make a turn point for RG2. Hope to see all of you there.

It's great to see you all put effort in RG2.

In Rg1, the wait times between tries were also huge, and you have to take it on fath that part of learning an instance will be to reduce those times, it will happen, relax concentrate, if everyone there gets back, gets ressed, gets buffed fast then it will be fine, make sure you all go bio before  the raid and dont down pints of lager while youre raiding :P, if peopel are going to go bio make sure it's at a set point rather than peopel popping off at random. 2 mins for bio parallel is 2 mins, 2 mins for bio serial = a long time.

Damn.  That's me out then.  Wonder if there's a spot going in RG2 for a Mage with slightly beer stained netherwind?

How will it help RG2's progression, if we get all the drunken people?
And besides the raid groups are 'equal'. The same rules apply to both; so no drinking beer during RG2 raids either  .
Guess you're out of luck TL :narnar: .

Actually every time RG2 has struggled on Razor... 4-5 wipes, I go get myself a beer, and EVERY time, we get a kill on the next try, so next time, ill grab myself a beer at the start.  And on every boss followed.
