Regarding Noevra/Crusader

He joined in the ZG run on his lock yesterday, i didnt realise at invite time but he's lvl 59.

We get to bloodlord, and the blue cloth dmg chest drops.

three roll need, including him, he rolls highest. ML gives loot to 2nd highest roller because it was the opinion of myself and everyone that spoke about it that you cant need it if you cant use it - my reasoning at least is that id rather see loot go to someone who can use it right away than someone who still needs to lvl up to get it.

he then left the raid leaving us undermanned.

consider not just this case but also for epic loots, where it is quite possible to get a rep lvl required for epic loot priority in our system before you even get to lvl 60.

and now he's on a rampage pointing blame around, discuss!

Tell him to sod off.  From the forum account (a thread in which I have already posted fairly strongly) his behavious afterwards was unacceptable.  This is not the first time the term 'childish' has been levelled at him, so personally I woudl ignore any accusations hurled.  He's come across pretty badly int he thread when you read other members responses.  I might have a quiet word in his shell-like though......

Mene you and the ML did right.  You cannot roll Need on an item you cannot use, period.  I am also a streong supporter of the L60 rule for our raids and where possible I take L60 to 20s when I run them myself for exact same reasons.

As a follow up I believe a loot rule clarification should be posted.  If the Commanders agree it I am quite happy to post it myself if the Commanders feel it should come from a 'real officer' (to quote Noevra's description of us).  Somehting like:

A player may not roll Need on an item of loot for which they do not yet have the proficiency or level required to use it unless no other eligible player in the raid Needs the item.

We will do it soonish cause we gonna revise the whole lootsystem this weekend. The change you mentioned will be 1 of the things we want in there.

Well if you want a added/new set of rules, draft up set in here, and put it up for discussion, the old set of rules should be up on announcement forum, might be a good idea to check how they are set up.
