Seriously Opti, I think you should calm down quite a bit.  The officers are just as much allowed to have absence from the raids as any other members, and they have an all over very high attendace.
I don't think comments such as this one is something that really help them get motivated for the job they do.

To be honest, I think you should delete, or at least apologize for, the post you just made!

Well Im sure that all 3 have excuses for not showing up.. Altho they are officers I must say i don't except them to show up at every raid. It shouldn't be that neccesary for all the officers to show up at every raid.. They got RL's to take care of aswell..

You will also appreciate the fact that we had 11 healers, where we should have close to 15 for a nice group, espes there where the healing is very important on the trash before the twins and the twins themselfs. There is more to having a good raid then just numbers.
 
The officers are as disapointed as you are and we are working on a solution, give us a bit of time and look for a post by us tomorrow.

If that was your point, that didn't come quite well out of that first post of yours.  Next time just take 15 minutes to chill and a cold beer before making such a post the next time, so you don't end up with something that is easily misinterpreted.

Firstly, Vargen actually was there, check the DKP site. TL's wifes Bday is today, I mean... jesus, I didnt expect to see him at all tonight but he did actually turn up later on for MC, if I had a wife and it was her BDay, I probably wouldnt turn up either, and he apologised in the absence thread. Ragnarh, not got a clue, but he probs has a reason im not aware of. Cant go blaming people for not turning up unless its obvious someone is skipping these raids, and after drawing up spreadsheets and stuff, I found at least 1 person who im having suspicions about =P

Also, you didnt turn up to the last twins raid that we would have spent wiping which didnt go ahead

Raid called due to lack of people... Oops think RG2 has tried that LOADS of times, but hey thats what happens. This is a game, and ppl have reasons to prefere RL in situations.

Hmm. Was it in my situation i wouldent show up. There are couple of days in a year where such things happes. RL events are more imprtant than raiding.

if he writes that he blames the officers that called the raid, then the officers that werent online couldnt have been the ones calling the raid.
 
besides: SoG inst the guild in which the highest percentage of its members are willing to sacrifice alot when it comes to break new grounds.
 
If you want Pioneering and adventuring into misty uncharted territory, then Sog isnt the best.
But if it is the "same old, same old" then Watch out!!!!!!!!:roflmao:
 
Even if I had the time to raid I wouldnt have left sog, because I knew that many of the players in SoG has the spirit that you wont even find in any other guild.
 
there is a thin line between having a great spirit that makes you want to push onwards ingame and the sheer geekyness that has isolated you from anything else than WoW.
 
All in all; I would have joined Opti in that raid with 36 players.
What happened with the exitement of challenge? I remember when we still didnt get Lucifron, but we managed to clear to the imp caves with like 30 ppl or less, it was the talk of the month! it was superb, THAT was achievement.
I know the twin E. requires healers etc etc. but like, giving up without trying, atleast to learn from failing etc...that can really put out a guy`s glowing ember of adventuring lust!
 
There are many new players in the guild, I wont even bother to try to figure them out. But you new ppl, please, dont ride the big cock of cockiness. Meaning, that you wont bother trying when you dont have enough numbers compared to guides, 1337 forum strategies etc.
SoG must remember that it has to fight for progress and that process of fighting must happen in each and one of you, and then you have to root for your raidgroups, then you back up eacother (rg1 and 2) and the guildies back up their officers, just like the officers are doing what they can for you on EVERY level of you being a guildie in SoG.
 
What I mean is, DONT MAKE ME WASTE MY TIME IN FORUMS, I HAVE STUFF TO DO. so If you dont think about this, everyone of you. I`m gonna make life a living hell for all of you by bombing your computers with EMP pulses.

Sorry folks, but it was my wife's birthday and it was more than my life was worth to miss the birthday dinner cooked for her by my daughter. :sad:

From what I heard it wasn't so much the numbers, but the imbalance within the classes that was the problem was only 11 healers which would have caused a massive problem on the Anubisath Defenders you have to kill before even getting to the Twins.

On the bright side, we got a new instance and can demonstrate our improved tactics & NR with a single night clearance through Huhuran and if we make really good time can start on the Sentinels and Twins on the same night.  Let's make sure everyone gets to the instance early next time so we start as promptly as possible please.

Have to say, I was abit down on the calling of the raid yesterday too. But I respect the decition.
 
Agree with you to TL, ppl shoud be at the entrace at 19.15 latest so we can start.

Raid was called since its a really hard fight, and we decided that we need full RG1 attention for that. We could've borrowed a few more from Defenders/Soldiers but its a fight we have to learn for ourselves, and we need full RG1 attention
 
On a general note i have to say that im extremely dissapointed to see that we have to cancel a cleared instance to the Twin Emperors for a second time. How the heck can people expect to get some loot when some (no mention, none forgotten) dont show up for the learning nights. These are the nights thats the most interesting where we can really to use our skills.
 
Please dont make us bring random raids into the picture again, or cancel BWL until we downed twin emperors, but thats some of the options we have. Another thing we might have to do is check the attendance, and replace people not fulfilling the actual requirements. Its something we dont wanna do either, but our raids MUST GO ON.
 
The Officers are EXTREMELY focused on progressing in the various dungeons, but without the support of the members, we cannot do it
 
I hope all people will reflect on last nights events and meet up for the next raids to come, so we can get AQ40 done and move on to Naxxramas
