Stepping down as an officer

Right....... this has been in the works for some time now, and i feel need to take this step. Mostly for me, but also somewhat for the guild
 
Over the last 10 months i've been trying to give the best of me to help manage and keep the guild going to the best of my ability. Whenever i commit to something, i try to give it my 100% and lately i havent been feeling that.
 
I defininately havent agreed with some of you guys lately, and that ****es me off so much i cant explain. I just feel we are walking different paths. I really dont want to be ****ed off, so this is also a place where i can change. I've come to realise that we probably wont agree in the future on this either, so it feels annoying for me. I really feel that we are standing on a verge to being close to losing members due to we are not paying attention to filling the ranks. I do think you are wrong about not recruiting more, but thats my opionion, and i'll leave it at that
 
Dont think i still wont bug you with all sorts of crap in the raids, and especially when im on the "normal" member side, i'll be a royal pain the arse :smile:
 
The really big thing is that my IT company (which i own) is about to merge with my best friends IT company which makes it around 40 people business with a total revenue of 5B€. This is the definitive and biggest thing which i cant keep spending the time i do as an officer, and also giving my heart to this company. And for me, the so-called Real Life is very much more important than any video game -even- World Of Warcraft
 
I will still be available in SOG as a Regular guardian, and i'll try to make raid times to the best of my ability. If you want i'll carry on SOGBANK with the cores and mats, but ofcoz i recognise that if you want to keep it in the officers ranks, i'll transfer all the money, mats etc. to a person in the officers ranks. I would never do anything that could harm SOG in any way, and should i eventually have to quit the game (no way at the moment) i would ofcoz transfer whatever you want to whomever
 
I feel both sad and relieved to take this step. I'll definately miss the guild management, but i will definately also be relieved that some of the pressure to perform has been taken away from me, and i can choose more freely towards my Real Life than feeling pressured by a video game
 
I'd like to say thanks to all the Officers for a great time amongst you. I havent been in the guild as long as you have, but i feel as like i've known you for a lifetime. Its been a privelige to raid with you week after week, and i hope we can continue to meeting our goals in the future

Padding thanks for your efforts, it's a true team effort and whilst I know we don't all agree all the time, it takes the mixture of views to make it work, so thanks for the work you have done in the past and the platform ou have helped us build.  Good luck with the business too!
