The UI screenie thread

Something I did since Cata is move my minimap to the midcentre. I use Sexymap and took a less obstructive design, the burning sun one. Around it (above and to the sides) are my action bars. Further up my HP on the left and Target's on the right. Still thinking of a place to put Grid reliably, it's currently to the left, above my chat pane. Bottom right is for meters.

Maybe someone here has a suggestion. I'm looking for a cast bar addon that let's me do the following:

A) I want to keep the Blizzard cast bar for my own spells. I like its position and I'm used to its looks.
B) I want target's casts to display above their HP bar.

Currently I can do either A or B with Pitbull, but not both. If I do B, it also puts my own cast bar above my own hp bars, as you cannot set different bar layouts for individual units in Pitbull.

Try Quartz for the cast bar tweaking.

You can use ecasting bar too, tho i like configuring it with target's casting bar showing a HUGE casting bar in the middle of the upper screen, just to avoid missing it

Did a tidy up on my shadow priest UI today and dumped a bunch of stuff and slimmed the rest of it down again.  It now looks like this:

Small gap to right of player is for ToT
3 small yellow timers are proc monitors for Lightweave, Power Torrent & Volcanic card (to refresh VT/DP when 2 or more up at same time)
Target cast bar is between Target buffs and the Forte Xcorcist Cooldown Timer.
Skada (lower right) shows Threat when in combat and reverts to damage/whatever when ooc.
Others bars/buttons hide when in combat or only show when mouseover.

Target Frame is of course opposite the Player one, and next to that is a small ToT frame.
DXE timers appear above my chatpane on the left, when they become urgent (timer's about to run out) they move to the middle above the Player - Target frames
Skada grows downward from where it says 'DPS'
Debuffs appear under my healthplate as well as on the right, though I don't look there

The biggest space saver here is Power Aura's. Almost all my timer monitoring is done through that. It tells me stuff like: Colossus Smash is active on target. Rend is 1 second away from fading from target. Battle Shout is ready to use, but also when it's worn off. Some encounter debuffs I put in as an aura as well, for visual cues.

So yea... clean and a lot of screen real estate saved there.

The buttonbars at mid-left and mid-right fade out and in on demand which is quite nice, along the bottom left to right are: Chat, Omen, Bartender, Vuhdo(for raid frames) and Recount
