I'm downloading BF 1.41 Patch to server. Should be downloaded by 14:30 today. Will then update both servers on BA3 and the VOIP server on BA2.

So go get 1.41 if you don't already have it.

I would like to congratulate EA, Dice, their mothers, their first teacher etc etc for being so bloody incapable of releasing a patch that works. Running the 1.41 server patch uninstalls the server files and, even if you do NOT click the option to delete config files, it DELETES THE WHOLE BF2 FOLDER including all mod folders and settings!!!!!

Fortunately, knowing how inept they are I had backed up the configs before I started. :flirt:

So, servers patched to 1.41, VOIP server patched to 1.41 and poe2 version 1.1.5 installed on second server. If you have any probs please ring EA not me :sideways:

A friend offered me a free copy of BF2142 today - I said no thanks!

Played BB! BTW, the new patch seems to have caused several times for me to disconnect. It seems to be a causing a problem with my firewall...

BTW, I'd buy the copy, thought about it and I like BF2 and I played the demo of 2142. Let me know what he wants for it if he still wants to get rid of it (I'll pay aslong as it's under the "normal costs" and postage).

I'm still trying to master LFS but failing miserably so wont be racing anytime soon; you'll be glad to know. I think I'll wait for the mobility scooter addon that should be easy enough to steer :-)
