Molten Core SoG One

Ok since no one brought this up I'll do because I can't only stand and watch.

Last MC SoG One went not as was intended, reasons maybe too many ungeared alts and many left.
Disturbing thing is not the ungeared folks, the officers decided to make this MC Sog One runs for the ungeared people and to be an oppurtunity for those still need something from MC to get them.
Main disturbing thing was that those who were supposed to run the show left one after another and those remained were the soldiers, alts and some RG1/RG2 ppl ( thank you ).
After we started off with that demoralizing dialog on TS the nice paladin who left the raid, one after another ppl left.
So if this is not a lot to ask please take your time before signing on a run like that, because 40 ppl are putting their time to make something happen and it is annoying to see ppl are leaving without notice.
We ended up with only 17 people for OL after we called MC because of the serious lack of players with gear.

Regarding the too many alt (ungeared alts) problem, could it be possible to make a rotation on bringing alts into the run?
perhaps make alt forums?:narnar: so we can make a list over things?
Other than that I think people really should think twice before signing or joining a raid if they think they can't make it till the end.

I just had this feeling that people were thinking " Bah it's a pug so what! "
and it wasn't a good feeling for us who stayed till end and really wanted to accomplish something.

P.S wanted to thank the officers and raid leaders for making this great opportunity available for us, so let us give it our best plx.

I agree completely with u. Shame on those who left because they did not want to stay there with the low geard ppl. There is a reason why we have this sign up MC. So that ppl that not normaly do instances and the ppl that still need items from MC, can get items from MC.

So be ashamed, And let's try and do this a weekly raid shall we. I will try and attend as many as i can, but atm i can't skip 3 days of work. But that will probably change pretty soon. As im most likely moving home next week to start on a well paid jobb i norway

I dont think its the undergeared alts that did it, they cant be that Â¨poorly geared. I mean, we started MC with blues / Greens, and the current gear of some of the Rg1 ppl, and even rg2 surely should make it up? Thats just my 2 cents anyways. Maybe low moral was the problem. But nevertheless, things got fudged up, and that sux

I as commander realy insist that people DON'T signup for serveral reasons:

Don't sign up when:

1. you lack of time, and think well at least I can get 1 or 2 epix.
2. not willing to contribute helping giuldies/alts/rg members
3. Going AFK mutliple times.....

It's still a raid not a oh well I have nothing better to do run.....

hmm guess I shoud not sign-up anymore then.

On a normal raid evening I normaly go afk 1-2 times during a raid because I need a bio. So if the afk issue is a problem, I will say good raiding.

I think that yesterday's MC run was a great example that FOCUS once again was the issue... or lack of it. IMO you can do MC with 20 good geared people and 20 rookies.

Sorry for not staying for OL, but I'm not attuned yet with any of my alts, and was told that RG2 would do Onyxia yesterday, so I couldn't join with Jem either. (Speaking of which, anyone wanna go on a Jailbreak run this weekend?)

Shadowscream, I'm not gonna bother quoting your entire post of missinformation, but it is just that. Get your facts straight befor posting stuff like this PLEASE!

First of all, the SOG One raids are lead by the Commanders, not the Field Marshals not Marshals. Teaelle left the raid, and he had his own reasons for doing so. Wether he chooses to share these reasons with you is totally up to him.

For the socalled demoralizing chat on TS with a member of the raid leaving. That could verry easily been avoided by the person leaving actually taking the time to READ the RULES of the SOG One raid before signing up at all. The concept is to keep it as open and as equal as possible. Not to make rotations and diffiult loot rules and all the work of a DKP system. It's just ment to be a Molten Core run for anyone that normally doesn't get to go there. Because it is so open, it will also take some time before the group will be able to speed things up and maybe even clear MC.

besites we had the problem that rg2 had mc next night.

i think thats why a lot of people didnt show up.

besites that its not a official raid where we need to make progress ore somting. you should see it more like a friendly get to getter for the guild. so if you wish to make progress and have low repair bills you should not attande these runs

Nah just kidding. But about the, "if you don't have time, don't come at all" is a bit rude. I for one can't do full raids even though I want to. I got like 3 hours a night during week days (that's till 22:00 game time) and then have to go. If this means I can't come at all anymore, I can't do **** ingame anymore. If you can't get in MC with SOG, you can't get in MC at all (there is not a single succesfull guild as far as I know that has a relative low-rule raid option).

I dont see what the fuss is all about. If you join this run you also accept that its not on the same terms as it is in RGs! You cant expect to be able to take down Raggy everytime.

Its a pickup group for MC... Its not that different from doing a /LFM MC in the LFG channel!

My point in the post was that join only if you 100% sure want to do this.
I mean omg i saw some alt left raid after losing a roll on loot???
