MC Speed Run - Preparation Required

The below is a quick list of the things we would like each member to bring along.  Some have been over-buffed (I looked for everything possible for mages), others I know will be missing some potions or buffs.  If you think of something that would be helpful to a specific class then please post it so it can be added.  Likewise, if some of the pots share the same cooldown or will not stack then let us know please.

The MT groups will be set in raid templates (I will organise that side of things), meaning no nasty waits for group changes.

Each Class should have a predetermined number of specific pots as a minimum.  The plan will be to use these pots throughout the run.  Please could Officers post below the pots needed for specific classes or edit them in to this list.  I have no idea if what I have already posted stacks, but I want us to be prepared, so post if you know they don't!

I will appoint an OOC rezzer (pallie) for the non-boss bits of the fights, this will keep us moving along fairly quickly.

I will appoint someone to keep track of a 'potion timeline', issuing reminders when necessary to those to refresh pots or buffs.  Not sure if this will work as it may get horribly out of synch if people die but you never know.

I will set predetermined targets, pulling hunters, bubble pull pallies and MA's - no delays when assigning - I will organise a sheet listing who is doing what on each boss/mob.

I will assign specific people to douse each rune.

That's all I can think of at the moment.  Please add or comment on the above please.

Please note that several Mages (myself & Kreuz included) are respeccing from Fire (mostly useless in MC) to Frost/Arc again just for this run.  If your telent build has changed because you don't do MC much any more then consider if you need to respec to suit the speed run.  This will mainly affect Mages, but everyone should have a think about their build just to check.  I'll be respeccing back to my current build right after the speed run though!

Lunares & Teaell can make all of the Flasks and I think several others can too (marduk for exmaple).  If you want some made up then send an in game mail with the mats and we'll make them up ASAP and then mail them back to you.

Please do this ASAP as the flasks will need to be made in either the BWL or Scholo alchemy labs, so some preparation will be needed.

Done a couple of these wannabe speedruns, ended up in about 3 1/2 hours with ppl that's not even got full tier 1 and loads of BIO-breaks.

Will recommend winterfall firewater, elixir of giants / elixir of brute force (these don't stack so your'r choice for tanks for the little extra As for the rogues aswell: firewater, giants and 2x elemental sharpening stones for bossfights, trash will go down so fast so using it on em will just be a waste.

Our previous best is RG1's 2hrs 36min, but this was on a normal raid night clearance and not a speed attempt, so it included AFKs, bio breaks and if I recall an 'almost' wipe.  The aim of the speed run is to plunge WELL BELOW the 2 hour mark.

Increase critical chance on a melee weapon by 2% for 30 minutes.

I can make them and need dense stone as well as Elemental earth.

The ZG trolls have their potion that adds +50 stamina and spirit
Yeah you most likely know it, but it's just a reminder

Have to be honored and deliver a bijou or 3 coins of some sort, this lasts 2 hours so should be more then enough for the whole instance.

i Seem to recall me and Padding(?) being the only one's left, so thats a really close wipe. But as long as a noom stays alive, is'okay.
 
Oh, and greater arcane elixir is good for locks too

http://www.thottbot.com/?i=14541 - Gift of Arthas -  might be useful on the tanks. increasing all damage taken by 8 doesnt sound like a lot, but really it does add up and make a difference. It works on a lot of mobs including bosses. If you understand why its worth taking a hemo rogue along, then youd understand why this is worth using too And its cheap to make.
