When i joined SoG i commidet myselfe, and have an responsebility. I met some awsome ppl here and i wont leave just because of a setback. I see this as a challeng and i'm certaily gonna stay here and help it to be conqured.

Its always easy to sit back and say 'Ill stay forever and do what it takes! One for all and all for one!!!' its kinda the same as when you're in love with some girl 'Ill love you forever! you're the only one I want.' They wanted to be with they're friends and for them progress in the game aint as important as it apparently is for some..

Correct me if i'm wrong but i have NEVER, NEVER said that i will stay here for ever. But i certainly wont leave when were going trough a tough time.
 
I know Nef, maby it isent because loot and progress, but as i said meny of my friends have asked me to leave and join another guild wich in this case was with more progress, but said NO cause i feel a certain responsebility and commitment.
 
RL is allways important, bu no offese RL friends are RL they are near you thats why they are RL but that isent a reason to leave is it? You can still play with your friends and be a part of another community. You need to have will.
 
 Ill take me as an example. I'm a defender and a commander. I prioritise my RL ofc. As soon as im home frome work i go and log on wow and spend my time there. I raid Monday - friday, and still have time to spend with my friends, between work, raids and weekends. its all about the Will to make time for it to work!

I still do my RL stuff, and I even skip some things in WoW but I plan WoW and RL right next to eachother..... This works fine for me.....  I'm also not te type of guys that just walks away........
 
Now I know I cannot expect that people do the same as me, but what I can expect is that when they decide to join as Defender/Guardian you stay in the raid to help out. And when you have your gear, you still help out until everybody has his gear and you make progression. I the first loot thing I'll need is on of the 3 dragons (Firemaw/Ebonroc/Flamegor). So it will take a while for me to get better gear....... but meanwhile I'm willing to help out and gear up the new group.
 
Leaving is the easy way out.... I can't wait to kill Firemaw for the first time because we worked for it....... from MC al the way to Firemaw....

Well its not really their fault that we here atm are loosing more and more members and as TL said, it is not only SOG.
As I said in the first one it aint their fault that today was the last day to come to that other server.
 
And wth is wrong with playing with your friends? ye Im aware that you can see them in RL, but does that make it illegal to play with them in World of Warcraft? is it a crime?
It has nothing whatsoever to do with 'will' here.. This is not about making a balance between RL and WoW as I see it.. Its not like they are quitting WoW for good cos they are loosing their friends, they're simply going to another server.. They are sad to leave SOG but they've made an agreement with each others to follow through their WoW experience and I respect that.
If you got the opportunity of a lifetime you would be split between choosing the greater of two goods aswell. Ubar and Co just chose changing server as the greatest. Their last chance and they took it. If they hadn't done it now they couldn't have done it, and I don't think SOG should stand in the way for that. That is not how I wanna see SOG.
 
Now let me ask you.. Those friends of yours who keeps offering you spots in other guilds, what server are they on?

They knew what they were getting into when they joined SOG.. Hell Ubar was a Marshal..

In all honesty, yes these kinds of things CAN be decided overnight, if you chat to a few of your mates and the feeling that a new server with more people speaking your language might be a good thing AND , note that the server migration deadline was like yesterday, it was a do or die decision.

He's not leaving because of anything in sog, he's going somewhere else for a hopefully more italian sociable atmosphere, to put it another way, he's running to something, not away from us.

It may be a bad time for you and I feel for you, raid groups have their ups and downs and it seems the downs all come at once, but would you rather he stayed, while his italian mates all went elsewhere? that would just cause resentment.

The only thing I can see here that can be cause for unhappiness is the short notice, which he tried to explain with the migration deadline, but I would hope you don't get at him for leaving at all. As I've said before, please don't alienate people and stress at them because something they do isn't what you want them to do, when they have a choice

Let the guy go where he's happiest and keep comms with a guild he got on with, it's not like he left the guild in the middle of a raid or anything. the people here have real lives and real feelings.

Of course he could have done what I did and started a new char on the server with RL mates

1st. what kind of frieds are they if they dont accept that you'r interests are in wow instead of football or stamplegathering. Seriosly if you so called "frieds" cant accept that your interests are focused in a game instad of some out door activity, maby concider looking for new friends.
 
"you are so unsocial sitting in there playing" <- meny of you have prop heard that sentence to meny times, i am sure of. Who is unsocial, i know im sitting with 39+ people every day on 3 different voice communication programs. i wont call that unsocial. Some of them are 25km away and some are more than 1000.
 
2nd. Well some are on Hammourouge (or what its called), some are on Frostwhisper, some on sunstrider. And meny of my friends have moved fome Aszune to another realm, i know i wont leave!
 
If you are thinking of the transefer, dno if its open and i DONT CARE.
 
And i dont think Ubar did know what he went into. If he did why leave all of sudden. The server transfer is not a 1 day option and you know that Nefertem. Instead of talking with the FM's and Marshals about it they DID stick the tail between the legs and run away.

I'm saying that you are running away, instead of stabelising RG2 as it was before ppl start leaving.
 
As a post Daed made. We have got 25 new ppl in as defenders and even more. Ehy not stay and fight for keeping it together. All become 1 again.
 
Tell me what people expect? With 25 new "blue / green" geard ppl do you realy expect to go and do BWL in few nights?? i dont. i saw this coming. people leaving, people afraid of commiting themselve.
 
I'm happy that we are going back to basics and hope that this is a new beggining of something great. Hope that people are gonna stay and rebuild it to something it was before.
 
I wont say anything more cause it has no end. I would like to say that im sorry if i affended some people but i'm not that type that just keeps my mouth shut and think everything is ok. I'm saying how i feel, and im still angry about this, but nothing i can do about it. Sorry again!

Just because RG2 have had some bad luck the last few weeks you suddenly burst out into a wave of rage and curses about being a coward and running away when you are most needed and that bucket of crap was pured right into the face of a guy who honestly couldn't help the bad timing..
