Werful Issue

Werfull during the raid
Goodday Marshalls,

I would like to bring Werfull (paladin) under attention as abilities as raiding palla are starting to irritate me ( I can only speak for myself).

I know some other paladin are with me but they need to fill out a PM theirself.

Last night was one of the many nights. I didn't mention this before as I was not the class leader back then.

Last evening he wasn't in the SoGPaladins channel. Making it hard to communicate as a group. He seems to forget his buff EVERY SINGLE TIME.....yesterday he was on BoL and I can remember that BoL missing on warriors was shouted several times on TS. Even after saying it in class channel (he was in then) he still didn't do it. So I had to do in via TS. And it starts to irritate me to spam every single time he needs to do his buffings. Also after he got an disconnection / error in the supression chamber, I immediatly changed the buffings. I took 2 buffs so Gruud could overtake his BoL. He said on TS that he needed to contact Blizzard as he couldn't get into the game. Later on he did joined the game. I told in class channel that he is on a DAY OFF as I redevided the buffs. He didn't read it, nor he was in class chanenl, I don't know and I don't care...he should read it. Then he started to redo his buff, which debuffed Gruud's buff.....

As I am thinking about giving him a year off (meaning not doing any buffs) this isn't the way. That would actualy reward him instead of warning him.

I will talk to him prior to the MC run tommorrow (23 Nov) and if things are not improving I will address this to you guys once more. Then it's time to make him aware that his performance should improve as raid palading. I don't have problems he does DPS from time to time as this is what he is doing ever since. I'm not expecting him to respec but to improve his commitment. Also his lack off cleansing is a point of attention.

Thanks for your information on this matter, i had heard a bit about this last night from other members and we will be having a close eye on Werful on thursday as this is just not acceptable.

If any other members have views on this please get them to mail me, and it will be added to the post that has already been created.

I have experienced him as a horrible paladin myself when in ZG. Even in a 20 man he was unable to do buffs unless asked several times on TS. Not my favorite person, nor pally.

kinda reminds me of padding, you can hear from raid chat what buff he does also, have a word, if that dont help, give a public bollocking :boxing:

I can just say: Finally! - We got something in written from the RG2 Paladins. I have urged them to do this for a while.

Werful is not anyones favorite paladin, he's just to lazy and unfocused.
Lets see if he wants to improve, or fancy a bit boot in his ass.

What will work best? A meeting between all Marshals and Werful on TS or just a PM from RL....

Depends on the person. If you all meet him in TS it is highly confrontational and likely to provoke a very defensive response.

One to one on TS would work much better, so long as the tone of the conversation is kept non-confrontational, just stating the facts and where you are at so that he knows where he is and what choices are in front of him and under his control.

A PM is probably can be ok, but you have to be very very cautious as written words can be interpreted in so many ways unless very carefully written.

If it were me (which it is not) then I would go for the 1:1 on TS as a first choice, then a PM, then an All on TS option, in that order.

Lets talk this through on TS first then 1 of us can have a chat with him alone in a diffrent TS channel (I dont mind to do this).
