F10 PM on ED

I got the follwoing from dave, a member of F10 on ED:

I'd just like to make it clear after viewing your forums that we done NOTHING wrong and your making us seem like a bunch of pricks.

1. You ****ed up in the Knife round, your own fault, not ours. We said Stay then GLHF then I run the LO3 config which clearly says LO3 LIVE ON 3 RESTARTS and restarts 3 times, if you missed that then you obviously have no eyes.

2. One of your guys saying we seemed like 'a bunch of ****s' and that we could of dealth with it better on your forums well i guess you forgot the bit where we paused the match for you guys for about 45 minutes to wait for him.

Oh and yes we did rush because you came on about 8minutes past, which should of been 8.00 so we had to start quickly, if you hadnt of been late we would of restarted but no.

In future i suggest you guys bitch about clans in a private section on your forums, as you can see on ours we didnt bitch at all, Oh and btw all your rates where ****ed up but we didnt complain about that either.

I think we need to be more careful about where we hold our "discussions". What was said in the thread was reasonable and was peoples perceptions of the match. They obviously perceived it worse than that. in short what was said was fine, where it was said was not

Agreed BB and that's why I moved it.  Now that most of the people who play in matches are in Charlie, all match discussions shall be held in the Charlie match section.

but what was said was not really offensive was it (checks) can't find it...they are too touchy...I trust your diplomatic reply Whitey:)

however...I really do think that it is important to post results and (certain)comments in open forum, as it is a way to let the rest of the community know we exist (and recruit)

there are some really good natural players in our midst atm...
look at Tan, Oth, Soon, Strontium and a few more I can't bring to mind now.

we should encourage and promote these players to charlie as a matter of urgency in order to swell the ranks of CSS

Let's just say, lately I've been spectating alot of people, gave some hints and tips and such and watched their replys.
 
I really want to hold a practice where I give the right kind of pointers about CounterStrike and how to hold a gun and such but as my VoiceComm is stil to cr#p, I'm nothing.

Oth, Soon and Kreg where promoted to Charlie yesterday but the announcement has still to go out.

I have had another PM from Dave on ED, apologising to me for tone of the original note and thanking me for providing a mature response.  He even said I sounded like a nice guy :blink:
