Atm i heard ppl talking about wanting to spec to shadow. This has been discussed with the officers and we came to the following conclusion.
Pre TBC raiding shadow will not be allowed yet due to having more healing problems atm then dps problems. What SOG will do after TBC comes out spec wise we cannot decide on yet, due to the lack of information we have. Leveling specs are ofc allowed during the grind from lvl 60-70.

Since the patch and the new talent tree there has been a lot of talk about priests wanting to spec to shadow. This possibility has been discussed by the officers and the following conclusion was reached:

Pre TBC we will not allow shadow spec within our raid groups.  This is due to simple need to maximise our raid healing (we consider we already have sufficient raid DPS for the fights we will do between now and TBC).

What SOG we will allow within the new smaller raid groups that arrive when TBC comes out we cannot decide on yet, due to the lack of information available. Levelling specs will of course be allowed during the grind from lvl 60-70.

I hope that this information is welcomed and sufficiently explains our current thoughts as to what is best for the raid before TBC and what we currently expect when TBC arrives.

Fine tuning carried out.  I included RG2 as well as it equally applies.  Marshalls may wish to use exactly the same text but in-game mail it to their own priests.
