What is happening with RG1 at the moment, is somthing i never thougt would happen to us. I thought ppl where happy here, and would feel honored to stay in the guild and raid in TBC.

Iv'e had my times where i have been frusterated beond belife over the poor results we some times have had, due to low attendance, and low focus. But i have stayed, i even played from the US cause i felt it as my duty to help the guild out at needing times trough AQ40.

I beg all RG1 that are left to stay, and wait untill the expansion is out before u do anything. This guild do great in TBC.

Or do u want to raid more? Please don't leave, lets see what we can do.

This is also a plea to the old SoG ppl to come back as well. I know u guys think it will solw your problems but im not so sure.

Im frusterated here. So this is the reason for this post. Cause im sad about what's happening.

feeling the same really, why quit now? we are on the edge of total reset really, and we learned alot from the past raiding months.

With that knowledge i KNOW we make a good strong start, and with that we will conquer all new instances.

So why leave to another guild, when you all helped build this guild to what it is now (some more then others but we all did something!)

I hear you - i cant quite understand what chaning guild should solve.

TBC will force us to restructure quite a lot, so if it is because people are afraid of being split up - hey, thats what you doing by leaving - so that wont solve anything.

I hope people will settle down - wait for the expansion to arrive and then participate in the great restructuring thats needed.

No doubt about it - this is a freaking great guild - and will continue to be, even if the groups look a bit different in size and members :)

What people tend to forget is that SoG was started as a social guild and not hardcore raiding. Hence why we started raiding much later than most guilds yet to some degree our progress was immense (apart from a few hiccups!).

Changing guilds will not help come TBC everything will be new to all and tbh I'd rather raid with people I can depend on in a fight than a new guild and new personalities that I may not like.

That said, I am actually glad for the break in 40 man raiding, don't get me wrong i enjoyed it but i'm actually looking forward to grinding xp again...

Of course if i got offered 9/9 T3 in a week...then i might change my mind lol.....

Not forgetting the SOG Arena Teams!

With 25 man you get your gear faster! and also the trinkets and stuff, since the drops should be the same (haven't heard otherwise) and with almost half of the competition gone, you also get more shots for items you really want but are not really prioritised for ur class in the raid.

What they said.

I can't actually see the reason for all these leavings... at least not now that all will be 'resetted'.

What you need?

More raiding? TBC will level all guilds to the same level so this can't be your reason.

A more social guild? You already are in the most social guild of the server.

Going into a new guild? Why? When you have built something like SoG!? I've been in SoG for not as long as many people in here but I feel I've helped in some way building the great guild SoG is now. And to be honest, at the moment, my feelings for myself are SoG or the end of WoW.

And a question to the ones that left/ will leave: where are you going? Are you planning to build a new Guild by your self? Because if that is the case I really don't understand you...!

It's happened before in two or three raiding guilds that I've been in on other servers - you get a glut of people leaving whenever there is an unsettling period (in the past it's varied between lack of raiding due to summer holidays, or Chritsmas vacations, or perceived lack of progress, or server instability), but then over the following weeks and months it settles down, you reorganise and move on without them.

Several people always ask to come back, several switch servers, some jump to other raiding guilds where they think the grass is greener but then realise that it ain't.

It's not new, but I don't think we should be threatened or worried - TBC is something of a step-change in wow and once the unsettling times pan out SoG will undoubtedly still have a great guild and strong raiding teams :)
If I wanted you to understand I would have explained it better
