I guess everything is a link into the "system". People hear about Boomer or find it by chance; the right people are there and educate them in the ways of TCS. They like what TCS offers and sign up to dMw and before they know it they are playing WoW (ok the last bit was a joke :narnar:) but Boomer, at the end of the day, is an advertisement for what we feel is the ONLY way to play CS.

However, Boomer never really gets going well until there are at least enough dMw regulars to try to enforce our "rules". Would the Gun server offer us anything we don't already have? (and that's not a no by the way it's a "game on! discuss openly"). Could a Gun server be used to promote dMw as a community and TCS as a discipline? If yes then we certainly have the hardware to do it but if it will just be another way of spreading ourselves more thinly then we should not go down that road.

In my opinion the GunGame is good especially if the order is changed. I think that if dMw got a GunGame server, it would help promote the clan. This is because, although the TCS style of play is a lot harder on a GunGame server, people would come and play, they would meet clan members, get to know the clan and might then play on the other servers aswell and join the community. Usually fun things like the GunGame trend to attract the biggest crowd so it would greatly help.

Just my opinion though.

In my opinion, GunGame is all about the individual and nothing to do with TCS or teamplay.  I don't think it has a place in dMw but it is fun if you fancy a change.  As for Boomer being dead, if no-one joins, that's the way it will stay.  I've been on a few times this week and it doesn't take long before you can get a good game going.  Join the server and play with the bots for a while and you'll find others will join before long.  

What's happened to the SoG regulars, I hardly ever see them on now? :sad:

SoG in general has been very dead for the last couple of weeks over xmas. LOTS of people seemed to go away or just not be on there computers. I think they will start to come back soon, although there is a WoW expansion coming imminently so dont expect to see many for a while.

PS i still havnt tryed this mod, tried last night but my game crashed when i tryed to get in to a server and then i couldnt b botherd

True. Gungame has nothing to do with TCS.
But if we use Baldric, or another piece of HW, for GunGame, it will certainly (a) draw attention from the public to the [dMw] brand, thus possibly letting us educate more ppl on TCS if they join Boomer too; (b) keep more dMws on dMw server; (c) be fun :-)
 
P.S.
I doubt if lots of ppl will find it fun for long, as ppl tend to get tired of mods, but if we have the HW, then it could be a nice go :boxing:

I totally agree with Le Rouge on this one, could bring more peeps to Boomer which we could educate into the TCS way...

( I do know this is an old post, if you were wondering. But...)

Well, you all a bit wrong actually, GG's can be Tactical, ( No bomb sites as such, but work with your teams. )
It doesn't just have to be plant the bomb and rescue the hostages, as long as you have fun, work TOGETHER, and kill all the enemies. xD ( Maybe not that last one. )
Say you decided to try the GunGame Mod out, if we all try it at one time, then we CAN play tacticaly, even if it's all aiming at one person and in the hope of that, he/she wont kill any of you first because you all firing at him/her.
I mean, it CAN be 'Tactical', as long as we're there to make it that way.
 
So I think it would be a good idea to all try it.( No matter how old this post is. )
