It belongs to some Mint-Clan, whom I don't know, but the idea on this server is the GunGame: all start with the simplest pistol, and every kill you advance to a better weapon. If you kill with a weapon you picked up - you do not advance, and each new game you get the gun in whichi level you currently are. Winner is the 1st to go through all available weapons (I think up to scout or so).
 
No team play, no new radar, but quite an entertaining idea when Boomer is empty :-)

I agree, I've played on a number of servers that do this and think it would lighten things up lol.

So the better you are the worse gun you get so it gets harder and harder. start with scout then go down throught the weapons to pistols.
 
I found that if i joined in the middle of a game i would constantly get killed by players that have the good guns. :g:

Its great fun, get your kill for particular weapon, then run around trying to stab ppl in the back (instant kill) and plus you steal a lvl from them.

I just hate the MAC10 and nade lvl..... was stuck on nade lvl 15 rounds yesterday :S

gungame is good fun, but I agree it should be reversed - start with good/powerful weapons and more down to the grenade and knife

I think it is already being discussed by CS:S admins.
I would love dMw to have a seperat GunGame server. I think there might be some admins that might be scared that this would "kill" Boomer, and spread out our members more.

But im not so sure of this, i think that if we got ourselves a dMw Gungame server besides Boomer, we could promote the community a bit, i dont think that the dMw people will move to play only on the Gungame server i would not, but spend some time there, instead of going elsewhere to play the Gungame, for example the other night i was playing a game of GunGame on Mint clans server i saw 8 alpha/bravo/charlie members playing there.
This would be a nice chance to promote the fantastic dMw community even more, therefore bring more regulars to Boomer, which then again that might even affect the other gaming sections.

Boomer should still be used as a TCS public server, to promote the TCS way of CS:S in my oppinion

I myself are gonna start promoting dMw more openly on other sections of the web especially other gaming communities (CS:S forums, game forums and so on)

But thats just my 2 cents, take it or leave it
