When we feel enough ppl have gotten to 70, gatherd some gear for it and want to start raiding we ask them again in a poll if they want to raid and promote them accordingly.

During leveling id say we would all be Soldiers and use the signup site for raids on AQ40 and Naxx.

I would think that we are likely to start raiding at lvl 67-68 and start promoting ppl there, but its hard to tell in advance (how hard instances is and stuff) Use the signup page for old instances also. Agree on soldier status until we actually can setup an entire raidgroup.

Easy solved, as we did, someone has to step forward and agree to run the second group.

Wierd

If we are aiming for 2 groups i would love to lead this second one but im gone need some help on it.

It would be good if we can allrdy have a suggestion for which ppl that are gone be in theese 2 raid groups now, then we can make some sort of dividing and see if we which classes SoG is in need of in TBC.

Im quessing alot of ppl want to reroll in TBC thats why i think this would be a good solution, to have some ideas which class and such that is gone be lvled up with in SoG so we get some understanding about recruitment status early in the TBC.

If we start to make up some sort off Loot system for TBC aswell (raid wise) if we gone use pure DKP (common sence) or if we gone have some other sort of loot system.

Also have harsh requirement for thoose 2 raid groups when the raid is up and going again, maybe have a uppgrade list with ppl that like to raid but didnt get a shoot the fist time so we can take action direct if raiders fail to meet the requirements in some way.

Also have a list with potions required for the diffrent classes, how much water a mage should carrie along with them before the raid start, and ppl should be at the entrence before the raid invites are out so the raid can start withitn a short time after the invites are done.

Have some sort of Votes on the forums for the different raid groups with the requrements so ppl can vote for which raid group they want to be in when we start to raid in TBC this will give us a fair amount if time to organize the raid groups and see which ppl we have for the 2 raid groups.

The RL and the marshalls who help him should be allowed to set the requirements for the raid group this should be done seperate between the raids and we should also consider other names for the raid groups,if the requirements aint meet by some raiders then we can check the uppgrade list and prepare the appropieate guy talk to the person who failed the requirement and make a swapp between them,(promote from within) in the first place if we have ppl that want to raid.

We should also consider to have 1 PvP raid leader in TBC,since from what i read there is gone be city to defend and claim lord ship over in TBC this might be a good oppertunity to get the guys we have that love to do PvP,if we have a PvP raidleader he can organize this raids and defence to become a succes.

Just crazy ideas from Wierd (if possible i would like to reroll to druid when TBC is out) tho i want to lead the Second raid group as druid (if i cant then i quess priest have to work fine)

Yrthal

1. Not to be egoistic but i would love to lead / be a part of leading the 1st hence my intendings are to raid 3-5 days a week in TBC.

2. Love the Idea wierd. Ppl need to understand that pots, food and etc. is important for accomplishment.

3. I think we should see who do we got that we know are stable and dedicated and one of the MOST important things is to know how to play his class properly.
this is what im thinking of.
-80-90% attendence
-3-4 days raiding (1st RG)
-1 replacement for each class.

Think we need to be carefull who we pick  and for what instance.
that goes aswell for the raiding between lvl 60-70
Dont think that meny soldiers or alts (poorly geared) will do good in aq40 / naxx.
Yes i know that we get greenies that are gonna be "better", BUT still think that the gear we got atm is gonna be helpfull till lvl 65-67.

But everything is till wide open, think we will get smarter when TBC comes out.

I would suggest a meeting on TS to talk about theese things before TBC is out then we can maybe work a solution out and maybe have a draft to something we gone post in the Forums?

Yrthal

aye, and not a 10 min meeting and the good fine bye..
Think its something that realy needs to be discussed..!

K heres a draft about it, but we will still need to discus the systems and requirements (attendance/days etc)

Draft:

QuoteAfter a chat from the field marshals we agreed upon the following to happen after the rank reset of the 14th of jan. since the raiding dungeons in TBC are mainly based on lvl 70 chars, as the info that is availible to us now sujests, and it will take a while to get up there with a group, the raidgroup ranks will be left vacant. Everyone will be set at soldier level. After TBC and when the leveling is underway a poll will be made to allow ppl to voice thier intrest (and intended class) for raiding. There will probably be multiple polls for different raid systems (days/attendance req). The details of these systems are still beeing discussed, and will hopefully be made public soon.

As for the raiding, and rules of the raids themselfs:
  • When raiding starts a DKP system will be made that takes the learning curve into account more, and thus will be more balanced (a progress raid will yield (far) more DKP then it currently does, idealy equal to a clear nite).
  • The loot system will continue to be based on the common sence system we use now. Members will be given a chance to pass to next in line.
  • A system for attendance will be maintained by officers and requirements inforced more stricktly, resulting in a more stable raid group.
  • For all classes a list will be made of items (reagents, potions etc) that should be brought to raids. These lists will be made with classleaders once TBC pots and reagent requirements are assesed and will be checked to be realistic.

Wierd

The draft looks fine to me and ill go with it.

Sazgul

Yeah sounds fine my me too, Its important to give people something to aim for in TBC, and information like this will put peoples mind at ease. This will let them focus on leveling, with the goal of getting into a SoG RG.

Greatdanes

Sounds good - good work:)
