Did that include vat and delivery Snooks - either way its a great monitor and yes totally agree had to almost turn brightness off!

Quote from: Sn00ks;298943Ooooo that's exactly like the one I got delivered for Ã,£231.99  in September last year.

I like it a lot, good blacks and colours. Although the default brightness setting had to be turned down.

Hmm, it may not have included VAT but it did include delivery.

Now I've got used to it and find myself occasionally thinking I could maybe squeeze a bigger on my desk :g:

But them I come to my senses and realise that once I'm playing and focused that it completely fills my view so anything bigger would be a waste.
I do exactly what the little voices tell me to.

PC Specs:- Black box with some fans that go whirrr, a few lights, things inside that get warm, headphones, keyboard (a clicky one), mouse (with buttons and no squeak), disks (2-off SSD and HDD) and a monitor of sufficient proportions.

I got one of the small ones of these and for the price they are very good monitors.  No bells and whistles but very nice.  The first one I got had to go back cant remember why now but it also had 5 dead pixles sadly stuck on bright green rather than off.  They dont include dead pixels as an rma problem though.  I am now waiting for the thin bezzel samsungs to come out to get three of them for some eyefinity action!!! :yahoo:

I was just wondering what the difference in size is between a 22" & a 24" monitor & I found this little fella through Google - http://www.displaywars.com/22-inch-16x9-vs-24-inch-16x9

could be usefull for some peeps.

Already a link to that site in [post=270793]this post[/post] :flirty:
So I guess TL (or some other moderator) should add the link to the first post so people can actually find it when clicking at the sticky.

PS: The link to the jpg in the first post is dead btw...

This is my current one:

Annoyed though that while I had at uni a scratch appeared on it (no idea how it got there). Maybe considering a new one for Christmas.-  I did manage to pick up a new TV with a great Groupon discount in London. This was very fortunate as the old one with the scratch was getting on my nerves!!!

My old monitor 21" 1080p had biro drawn over it from kids, removed by me buy left nasty streaking everywhere.
So I took the opportunity to burn some money and grab this: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-070-AS&tool=3
27" of gaming goodness @ 2560x1440 with GSYNC. Games look dead sexy on it due to the higher pixel count and input lag vs vsync vs tearing is now a non issue thanks to GSYNC.

The last monitor upgrade that gave me this "WOW" feeling was when I moved from a 12" CRT to a 28" TFT, but that was mostly due to the weight difference of carrying it to LAN parties!
