and they ****ed up the beta client on purpose with patch 2.0.5...bloody blizzard

I didn't actually think I would get it - the shop where I placed my pre-order got very few of the collector's edition, so they couldn't promise me any of that. I was there today to check, and of course they were out.
Just by pure coincident, I was in another store to look at some CDs, and I saw they had TBC (standard ed.) in the shelves, and I just thought I should ask what price they had sold the collector's edition for - and he had a couple left

So now I'm installing, and I'll probably skip training tonight to go through the dark portal I guess :flirty:

Have to say i'm glad I didnt delte the old patches off my pc..that would have been a nightmare....

Gits in my local shop put CEs on the shelf, but when I asked about them I was told they only had enough copies to satisfy preorders, and they were basically on the shelves because one of the evil girls working in the shop liked to taunt people.

The shop where I was so lucky to get my hands on a CE, actually had a very nice philosophy on that matter: since they never took pre-orders on anything else, they saw no reason to do it with TBC either. They didn't see it as fair that just because you phoned 'em half a year ago, you should have a better chance of getting one than they guy that actually showed up at the shop when they opened that morning
