Demos for every match

Let's get into the habit now of making sure that we have demos for every match.  Tomorrow's match against AON is a 'demos required' match, so make sure they are started by ALL players at the start of the match and re-started at the half.

For the match this sunday with your concent i will try to run hltv...my concerns are

will it cause any lagg problems ?
should i set it to allow others to watch and if so how many ?

I think it would be nice for players to have the option of watching a match if they have not been picked for it  :)

I would say no to spectators.  I do not think a single HLTV connection will have any lag overhead whatsoever for us...... but if you are playing in the match also, then i suspect like OB you will suffer a wee bit of lag.

If im playing in the match i will not be running hltv ...... but if not ill give it a go.....i was gunna set it with 30 sec delay and open 4 slots for leaders/deps to see how the game is going

And of coure ill try to get a demo

How do you set up HLTV? What do you need?

I just run the hltv proxy found in my halflife folder

type serverpassword DeadOcA
type connect 193.110.88.20:27015 (thats MH ip btw)

then i crank up cs and connect to myself ..... but i find that my ip instead of being 27015 for cs will be 27020 for hltv

maybe not the best way of doing it but its the only way i know :roll:
