oops again

don't have a clue how it happened, but I was in rcongui and clicked "adverts on" and promptly banned meself

sadako is trying to unban me, but can someone tell me how to do it meself cos this seems to happen to me a bit:rolleyes:

also, has anyone got any idea why this happens?

Ban removed.  You must be trying to run the admin commands before the rcon password. If you've got the rcon password set in your autoexec.cfg then I have no idea whats going wrong :blink:

but I'd been on for 3 maps and I'd spammed "ct rush" & "T rush" warnings many times.
People were asking why they couldn't rush so I clicked "adverts on" and instant ban:sideways:

the last time it happened I clicked "5 sec restart", and I'd been adminning happily for ages:blink:

I have the rcon pw in dmw.cfg and type exec dmw.cfg in console at start of game

The messages don't require the rcon password as they are using Mani, setting the adverts however uses RCON to set the cvars.  I don't think the rcon password could have been active (for whatever reason) when you clicked on adverts.  I would highly recommend that you move the line that sets your rcon password to autoexec.cfg (if you don't have it, then create it).

there's definately summat wrong with rcongui...I did exactly the same as I was doing last night but 1st button I clicked I banned meself:ranting2:

next time I'm on with you or whitey, I wouldn't mind having a try of my rcon to see what makes it happen.
