Aszune server (and I assume all of the other servers) have been having problems since TBC was released and Outlands opened. So far we have seen multiple disconnects every day and a reboot is normal. Once you start getting a mass DC the World server usually crashes due to the volume of people logging on again at the same time, the realm server usually then hangs and DC's you again due to the volume of people entering the realm again and all of this usually means that you end up with a small roll-back and an eventual reboot of the realm server when Blizzard realises that the system has failed. I've lost an estimated 80k xp to these 'small roll-backs' so far. All of this brings us neatly to Blizzard's catch-phrase:

'Working as intended......'

Other old realms (realms that are up since day 1 of WoW) all seem to have these problems. But Blizzard hasn't responded about solving problems etc.

Newer realms don't seem to have the lagg and DC problems, but when looking at Ravenholdt, most inns don't work not giving rested bonus.

My guess is that Blizz needs to fix a heck of a lot of realms each with different problems.

To be totally honest, I'm actually quite impressed on how well (relatively put) Blizzard has managed the release of TBC.
I've now reached lvl62, so I've got some play time - some of which I've spent out of peak hours, and others at times where the servers are under max load. I've experienced a DC from the server every now and than, and I've also seen one server restart.

But if you take into consideration the amount of folks that are actually active playing now, and how the big majority are around the same level and in the same zone, this is nothing but minor hiccups.

If we just give it a little time, until people start to spread out both in level and location, I think these problems are gonna be more and more rare. So the only thing I can say is: well done Blizz :thumbup:

Wierd. Emerald Dream has been almost completely fine. Minor lag, but that's to be expected with the number of people online and in a given zone at once at the moment. I've been d/ced from the server once, having been playing a considerable amount since BC released, and have yet to see our server be rebooted.

Now that you mention it though Shadow, I have thought several times that the amount of rested bonus I was getting while offline at work or sleeping was a lot less than I recalled when levelling up to 60...

The rested bonus has changed im sure.

if im logged off from an evening to the next evening usually about 18 hours (used to be 3 bubbles rested) I have about 1.5 bubbles

When I logged out Jorgen at an Inn yesterday, I got the usual thing you get when you log out outside an Inn, you sit down and have to wait 20 seconds to log out. :blink:
Was working like a charm tho on my priest in the exact same Inn (Hellfire pen)

Well tbh it is quitte dificult to steer so many people. It's like a DDOS, legit.

Ofc you can take 1000 servers more, but then there could be problems with economy, guilds etc etc.......

So there isn't realy a solution other then people logging in at the same time, it''s to much.

Well considering the over population of most of the servers its nice to see so many imigration services happening, although dont know how many are using it.

And i also feel rest bonus has been nerfed it used to allow a full 2 lvls of full rest given enough time now gone down to 1.5 levels...

it never was more then 1,5 level, but due to quests and such it tends to get dragged out to 2 since quest xp doesnt use up rested xp.

Nope it used to be 2 fulls levels dont know when they changed it but honestly it was 2 levels!
