ive busted my finger

dammit playin rugby last night i miss caught a high kick and it poped my finger out of the knuckle. poped it back in and continued, then i made a tackle and did ity again!!! bugger!!

so now i dont think i will b able to play 4 a few days as i wont b able to straif right! i just hope its not serious and will heal by the lan. dammit i was hoping to play 2night as well!

only reason it improved is that im typing really slowly with 2fingers instead of pushing buttons randomly in the right place

trust me when i say dont use that finger, otherwise you'll regret it when you figure out trying to use it after youve just popped it really wasn't a good idea.

it never hurts until at least a day after.

erm sheepy, when you do anything near the knuckle on your hand you REALLY should seek medical advise else you'll be crying when you cant play piano!

No seriously its best to get it checked out.  I've broke my hand twice just behind the knuckle.  Chances are they'd at least want you to keep your finger taped to a good one to prevent it from rotating in the socket.

i dont have any faith in hte nhs with minor injuries, when i broke my thumb knuckle i went to A+E straight away, he said i had only dislocated it after looking at the x-ray and tryed to "pop it back in" by this time it had swolen to the size of a golf ball sticking through the skin! he wouldnt even give me any strapping! so whenb a week later i was still in agony i went to the dr with the x-ray he was really pissed of because he could clearly see a huge crack all through the ball joint, so he ave me some strapping.

i am keeping the fingure imobalised, and im so used to treating small injureies myself anyway, like god no's howw many times i have broken my nose, and i have never been to A+E with it.

I've broken four fingers, playin rugby and basketball! After the first one I couldn't be arsed to sit and wait in a hospital againso I jus strapped it to the nearest one! They all still work fine, so it must have worked somehow!
