TBC Frost Rading Build

when I reach 70.
I think its a good build to raid, has all the survivability and damage enhancements from the frost tree, and some mana regen from the arcane.

I would like to see your opinions/crtitics/suggestions on this build.

For a frost build I would suggest you need to do the following:

Shatter - 5 points (currently 0) - big crit improvement
Elemental Precision - 3 points (currently 2) - reduce chance of resist against high level mobs/bosses
Improved Arcane Missiles - 5 points or at least 3 (currently 0) - good uninteruptable bail-out spell that follows a target.

This means you need to find 9-11 points from somewhere.

Get rid of:
Arcane Focus - saves 3 points - you're frost so don't worry about the chance of them resisting your arcane spells!
Counterspell - saves 2 points - bosses are immune and most mobs you'll DPS down in any case or use LOS to pull them.
Magic Absorption - saves 5 points - this is an arguable one (I have points in here myself, but  they were surplus points, not needed ones) but you already have a lot of mana efficient talents, +3% hit from elemental precision and your gear will include additional +hit so the resist is much less likely and therefore makes this an expensive 5 points that will rarely pay off.  5% mana is about 3-400 mana, so it is not that valuable even if it does pay off, just chug a mana pot is way better or munch a nightfin soup!

Saves 10 points.  

I'd spend those 10 points as follows;
Shatter - 5 points
Elemental Precision - 3 points (currently 2)
Improved Arcane Missiles - 4 points

Hey TL! How you doing?
It's true that the 50% chance of criting is very good, especially you frost nova them in place and do a cone of cold after!
Insane Damage!
But isn´t the use of shatter in high end instances very limited?
On the other hand there is a new spell on the way, the ice lance, that does triple damage against frozen targets...i'm looking forward to see what kind of damage that will do.

About the counterspell you're right, the bosses are immune to that so isn't really very useful! thnx for the tip there!

I am going to try to make a new build and post it asap!
