z block problem

again i was avail for last nights match but couldnt get on to the server with the same z-block error.

it says incompatable direct X

im running 9c at the moment. I thought z-block was supposed to work with direct x 9.

has anyone else had this error?

Do you have this line in your config or autoexec file?

cl_restrict_server_commands 0

If not please add it and try again.

If you do I'll keep looking for an answer (spose you could download dx from microsofts site and reinstall:

no problems, apart from steam verification probs last night, and I'm guessing they're not related.

Try setting

Code Select Expand

mat_dxlevel 81 in the console and then connecting to Baldric. If this works ok you could also try

Code Select Expand

mat_dxlevel 90
81 for DirectX 8.1
90 for DirectX 9

yea i have the CL_restrict_server_commands 0 or whateva running.

I was on a GG server last night and i saw in console that it was stopping the server running certain commands
