There are a bunch of really nice zm_ maps, I'm not really a big fan of the mod itself though.
Surfmaps are fun most of the time, but there is a large range of really lame and/or buggy ones. There is also many peeps that can't surf (I learned it the hard way back in 1.6 :sad: ) but once you get the hang of it, it really ain't that hard. Nice fun either way, just not fitting for a TCS oriented clan in my opinion.
Could be fun to collectively check out some surf/zombie servers and see if we can get some tactical gameplay to the people outside of normal CS/CS:S :g:

I really enjoy ZM, but it has got worse over time... The most recent reincarnation is unlimited ammo, Jetpacks and one zombie at the beginning. :blink: . The best was definetly the first, when the zoms where bots with daggers, and there where 13 of them against 5 players xD. It just wasn't very fun when the server filled up, but you can easily fix that by not letting too many on the server...

I love it, just some of the maps i dont like (too big or too many camping spot e.g understairs on roof)

And I HATE it when there be Player Zombies. Nooo, there just so annyoing.

And I hate it when Your a zom, and everything is GREEN! Like not green, Unfair.

Anyway, that is the down side to Zom servers.

On the upside: The bots don't have guns, but they Respawn infront of you. ( and that hurts if your not ready. )
And the camping can get a bit over the top, but all in good fun.

Nobody seems to know how to use jetpack... it's 'bind key "j" "+jetpack"' in the console. Replace the J with whatever key you want to be jetpack

. Anyway, on most zom servers it tells you how to do it o.0.

Yesterday for the first time I played Zombie Horde on a server.
Acid_Skass, KKND and Butta also joined on the server during the day.
This was Humans vs ZombieBots. Great fun as we got 0wn3d by te bots loads of times. Also some really good teamplay as on a few maps one or two players would draw the zombies in so we could pick them off with sniperrifles.
I'll see if I can find the serverinfo as this seems to be a new zombieserver with no usual settings (I wouldn't know as this was my first zombie shooting).
I think Acid had a blast aswell as he was on for quit a bit aswell.

We played this at the last LAN and for a few weeks it was on Meathook late on a Friday or Saturday I think.

I think the consensus was that Zombie Mod is good fun in small doses but perhaps not as a night after night thing?

Its a good laugh though

Well, I don't play on Saturdays and haven't seen it on Fridays but would like a game with fellow -=[dMw]=-'ers.
Might be fun to do on a Sunday-afternoon as last Sunday?
Usually not alot of people on to game then but those who played gamed together.
