A big hello to all those Bravo's out there!

I thought this would be the chance, if ever to tell you a little bit about myself.


Well .  . . I guess i'll start with a hello.

 My name's Tali,Short 'fer Taliesin. i'm 13, and I live right up close by Wales ( Even though I was born in LiverPool. Heh, don't get the wrong idea, I wont steal your money. Or will I? :g:  )

As my Gaming history goes, there's tons, but i'll start with the meeting of TechNical. ( Blur for a very long time. )
 Well, i'm Home-Educated.
   ( No, that doesn't mean I get off easy, I still of course have to do work, and I enjoy it, to a certain extent. )
 So I met up with him, ( He's also Home-Educated. Or with Education Otherwise, EO for short. )
about 10-11 years ago, and we've been best friends ever since.

We've played countless LANs with each other, usually Strategy games, such as battle Realms and Age Of Empires, but sometimes we'd play  on stuff like Diablo II, or Just go outside and play.

But, at about the ago of Seven, he decided to go to School. Which ment I didn't see him as much, and therfore didn't play anymore LANs.:sad:

And 3-4 years later he came out, ( Nice gap of my life skipped there ^^ )
And we'd play Dow ( Dawn Of War. ) quite a lot.

But I went round one day, and he was playing Half-Life 2.
 Now I liked the way it looked, but then I looked at the back of the case, and I saw Counter Strike Source, so I asked could I have a look what It was like. So he showed me, and  it looked amazing. Now I didn't really go on shooters, ( well . . .Not much. xD ) but this looked amazing.
So the following Chrimbo, I asked for HL2, and when I opened all my presents, nothing, it was nowhere to be seen. So I asked ( Sounds a bit cheeky, but i'd really wanted it! ) if I could buy it, thing was they had ordered it, so it was on it's way, But I didn't know.
 ( Sorry for all this rubbish, just a LITTLE bit or my life, thought i'd share it with you all. :narnar: )
The following day, thet come into my room, and pop it by my bed-side. And I woke up ( Extremly tired. ) and you can bet I was happy! :yahoo:

Then I started it up, and Joined my first game, as "Unnamed" my skill was pretty bad, but I guess most people aren't too good their first try.

After that, me and Tech played on Uk-Training camp quite alot, ( there fairly well known servers. )
and we formed a Clan 3xB Blighty's Bad boys.
 But after about one year, it was too much responsability, so we kinda packed it in.

And one day, we decided to go on Source, Techy picked a random server from his favs, and I joined, it was Boomer.
I wasn't very familiar with  TCS, although, it wasn't too hard, because that's the way I usually play, I just didn't know it was called TCS, so I added the server to my favourites, after getting the IP.
 And decided to have a browse at the site, ( Reading intently. :norty:  )
 it looked amazing, I thought it looked a bit like PC zone's page.

 I recomended dMw to Techy, as he liked the style of play. ( TCS )


And so, that brings me to finish, I hope I will spend many a month with dMw, live long and prosper!

Nice also to read some prose from a 'young-un' which isn't totally littered with abbreviations and l33t-speak. Doorman will be most impressed!

Interesting that you're home-educated .... who taught you? And why in particular are you home-educated? Is it a religious thing or Sociological? (if you don't mind me asking).

Anyway, at least they've done it successfully - you write well.

Who's taught me, my mum.
 It's not a religious thing,( I have no religious beliefs. ) and no it's not Socialogical.
  I get on fine with people,  make friends really easy, and it's not down to bullying, ( I've never been you see. ) It's just down to the fact that I never bothered.

Kudos to her :worship:.... I've done some teaching and it was hard - I imagine it's a lot, lot harder teaching your own....

And I didn't mean sociological in a bad, ill-suited, no friends sort of way!! more of whether you /she prescribed to an 'alternative' method of teaching similiar to something like montessori.

As mentioned earlier: welcome to B side (this means, in case you were not educated on that :-) , that once upon a time, before we all had CDs, we had records with two sides. Can't tell you which is the dark one though :norty: )
