Respeccing

Just wanted to let the officers and the guild know that I will most likely be respeccing to protection spec one of the following days.. Will make it easier in the higher instances as I am currently struggling keeping aggro and I reckon I take a bit much healing (accidently nerfed my hp to about 8.5k unbuffed in my search for more dmg = just below 11k hp buffed)..
That way I will be ready to do the instances required for the key-quests etc., so catch me ingame and I will most likely be up for some runs

I've been anti-prot for two years now and will surely miss my dps, but what the heck

Good choice Nefertem, had you not done that then you would defintely have found yourself short of HP in many boss fights with only 11k buffed.

But keep a fair amount of time so you're still able to do some dmg as well. I don't think we'll be heading into Karahzan this week, so it's not that big a rush.

But I know the karazhan thing.. according to the attunement thread we're like 3-4 ppl on the keyquests atm.. But then again we're about 20 lvl 70s in the guild now so someone might have missed the post..

But prot-spec is also to prefer in most of the high-end instances as the ones in TK and CoT.. plus the heroic ones ofc..

Was in Old Hillsbrad yesterday, and although I was ready to strangle the druid we had with us for dissing my tanking, I had to run quite a bit to get aggro and such back..
Besides.. with enough str and block rating the rumor has it that a shield slam can get near a Mortal Strike hit i dmg, so I will most likely still be able to run around and solo and such..

i used to have unbridled rage on that list, but since it has been nerfed to slower weapons, dont think its good anymore

hmm.. With the improvement of Commanding Presence you can get a 25% health bonus on commanding shout, but that takes 15 points in Fury.. So if you want that on will need to have a build kinda like this.. But is it worth that? you loose points in Prot and can't really get Iron Will..

not worth it, remember that there will also be dps warrs in a raid so youlle still get it

Well you got to remember that DPS warriors prefer the battleshout since it gives them more dmg. And due to group set up (at least in smaller raids (karazhan)) you might be unable to get 2 tanking classes and a dps warrior in there.

I'm a big fan of Iron Will, but there's actually not THAT much mobs / bosses that stun you anymore, and in most cases if the stun resist you loose aggro anyway (Skeletons in Karazhan for example, they run off if you resist their Ice Tomb)
And the reason why I chose booming voice instead of something else is because when you'r tanking, you usually don't have time to look at your buffbar, and those 2 minutes go down way too fast so another minute might save your life if you forget to refresh your shout.
