Actually the last man to ever fly a Sopwith Camel in combat (WW1) died in Feb this year. He was a Canadian called Henry Botterell and lived to 106 yrs.

Incidently BB, when I was in, an aircraft unable to fly because of unavailable parts was known as an AOG priority (aircraft on ground) a Lightning was an LOG (higher priority) so, was a Buccaneer a BOG?
