Dr Sadako

Now that we have Boomer filled up almost every day of the week I just want to inform you that if the server is full and you are spectator you might be kicked to make room for "active" players. It is nothing personal but many want to play. If you are AFK for a shorter while tell an admin that you will be back in x mins to avoid being kicked.

On another note, I do not want to see intentional tw or tk on any of our servers. Not even "just for fun" ones. I banned a regular tonight because of this. If I catch any dMw member doing this you will loose your wings immediately! Remember gentlemen, you set the tone on our server.

Intential TK = NO. There's been quit a bit typing about that allready lately.
Regulars should know better. Lead by example remember!

I hope to join you lot soon again for some CS action, lately it's been a bit BF2142 together with Kakehund...

Things must've been getting worse then. I've been a frequent at boomer last couple of months and I see very little TK and a wee bit of intentional or excessive TW. I had a few non-regulars that started wiping out our own team (TK'ing) for "fun" and I kicked the chaps as quickly as I could (no senior admins in-game) but that is the rare occasion. If I do TK or TW I type a sorry /soz or something as quickly as i can.

I'm sure no-one's going to get banned for that -  TK and TW do happen on occasion but it's fairly easy to tell what's an accident and what's deliberate. A misthrown grenade which bounces back, someone straying into your line of fire etc all happen with frighteningly commonality ( <---- is that a word?)

It made sence to me so probably: yes.

Sadako's talking about deliberate spawn tw'ing

which gets a 1 hr ban after warning from me.

deliberate spawn tk is auto 1 hr ban

it's especially a shame when up and coming, or regular players do it, but dMw players should definately not be doing it:sideways:

Bannage may be more severe for dMw members as you are expected to set an example to others.

I can't imagine any Charlie+ at least, in any situation, would do a deliberate TK or TW? Only possible scenario would be to end the occasional TK'ing killing spree from some non-regular trying to eradicate his own team by taking him out before everyone is killed. Would that be a good or bad thing to do? I've seen that happen and accepted it.

not in my book.

I don't know for sure, but I'm sure there was some guidance given a long tima ago about how to respond to this kind of thing.
IIRC the rule was NOT to respond in kind, but to let the admins take care of it.

Blunt is of course right on spot what I am talking about. TK and TW can happen by accident and we accept that it happens but it is intentional TW and TK I am after. One of the events, from last night, was in CT spawn well after round had started far away from any enemies. Continued TW ending up in a TK. Hence the ban.

That would be a bad thing to do.  The best option is to kick/ban the player ASAP.

Agree with Whitey. Responding like for like just escalates things - it's one of the reasons I get annoyed when regulars intentionally TW in spawn when they know there will be several restarts on a map. they think its funny but non-regulars think it is acceptable. Anyone who deliberately TWs gets slayed/kicked in my book. It is the on ly way to maintain standards.

A few days ago we had a guy that started the round by killing a teammate, then started following the rest (while shooting obviously), so I banned him immediatly, but before doing so I shot his head off, but it was only to stop his killing spree, since I needed some time to find him on the player-list of the admin menu, by which he would've killed most of our team.
Hope that isn't too bad though, since it was merely to avoid having more players senselessly killed.

I think this is ok in this type of situation. However, we should choose the menu option if time allows. I have done the same a few times. I think it is right to permanently ban them immediately. It is plain obvious that he didn't belong on our server.
