Naxxramas

How would you guys fancy a raid on Naxxramas in the near future? Anyone lvl 60 or over would be useful in it, and I reckon a team of 20 players or so should be collectable.
 
Any thoughts? I just fancy seeing a lot more of this instance now that it should be easier!

would be nice, but i doubt its doable with 20 ppl, not many will be interested in wiping to get outdated epics

Not quite outdated for a lot of classes though, naxx loot is actualy pritty good still untill you get to the higher raid tier sets beyond gruuls and stuff.

I do honestly think, that at a few attempts on the easier bosses might be worth while. I certainly would like to give it a go. I reckon 20 is enough, Gor feels more would be needed. Any other thoughts?

About how many is needed, I have absolutely no idea at all. But for me, if I will have time for some raiding at all (which might be hard the next 31 days due to exams), I would prefer to use that time in Karazhan.

But on the other hand, it would also be really cool to see some more of the inside of Nax than what we got to do late last Fall. But I can't commit to anything of that I think, so it would have to be a bit random for my part at least.

If it is on a non-Gen raid night then I would love to come along .  That means it would have to happen on Tues, Fri or Sat.  It would be great to try, but I am not sure how many would be up for it!  As to whether or not 21 is enough then a quick check on stoneform gargoyles will tell you - if you can DPS them down before they reset then you're good to go!

Hehe, aye, i dont think 20 would do though, no offense to SOG, but most of the members i played with are very low dmg. As tl though, id join if its a non gen raid nite too.

I believe that the Trash can easily be taken down by 20 but the bosses are still classed as bosses so they are lvl73 for a lvl70 and 68 for a lvl65character. They still have the same health and do the same damage so you gain some advantage from the better gear you have now, mostly the health buff people have gotten but i would say you need at least 30 for the easier bosses and 40 for the harder bosses and DPS heavy bosses.

4horse man is supposed to still be one of the hardest fights in the game even compared to the Serpentshrine Caverns fights.

Lastly there might be some problem for those that didn't raid before seeing as not everyone is attuned(me in particular )

The other big advanatage of a little Naxx practice would be slowly gather components for Atiesh, to make getting to Karazhan easier.

The Naxx raid was immense fun.  You still need to know the tactics, but at L70 it si almost funny.  We just cleared 3 whole wings in 3 hours.  That's:

Heigan the Unclean
Loatheb

Abomination Wing

Grobbulus

Thaddius

We're going back next weekend to try a full clearance including the other wing (Death Knight), the 4H, Sapphiron and KT.  Lots of T3 was handed out for laughs lol.  To give you an idea, we lost 29 people out of a 40 person raid in the first 45 seconds of the Heigan fight as the 'dance pattern' was not properly explained (and tbh you really have to see it once to understand it).  So with just 11 people up we still killed Heigan. SOG could defintely have fun in Naxx.

Remember you need 40 atttuned people - I would suggest finding out who is attuned first.
