That kind of made me laugh, since she was more of a burden during raids then a help. Things always needed to be yelled two or three times on TS before they actually happened :sideways:  . (And these were not just incidents, this happened every single time).
 
But I don't have objections to her re-joining.

I wouldn't say I'm 100% sure about Mari, but I also find it a bit hard to turn somebody down due to raiding reasons when we don't recruit for raiding. So I guess he should be invited?

he pass the criteria about having friends in the guild. i say that we'll invite, and when initiate period is over he can raid.. but have to stand in the list as other ppl. and meet the criterias like all others.

Well, that is true. Except from Ekzete's comment - and as you said, he is his RL friend, and thus isn't really "neutral" in the matter...

Re meeting the criteria: even though he has someone in the guild willing to sponsor him, doesn't mean we can't reject him if we don't want him in. We should as well take into consideration the opinion of the majority of the other members (and ourselves).

But I'm not really sure though :g:


Perhaps a word from our counselors? What did you do back in the old days? Did you reject many soldier applications, even though they knew people in the guild?
I guess it might also have been easier than to take in people as soldiers, even though you didn't 100% like 'em, since they for sure wouldn't be competing for spots in raids...

We didn't reject that many and tbh that is one of the things that I would change if I were doing it again.  If a criteria is 'any friend' then you basically commit to having anyone in the guild because everyone knows someone.  They get in via the back door and all of a sudden you do not know the people here any more.  I'd be tempted to take a stricter view of things, not necessarily in respect of this specific application, but as a whole for the guild.  

As for my experience with him, he was not a trouble maker to my recollection, just crap on TS and never listened.  He might be fine as a social member, but would nto be my first choice as a tank.

that is also my oppinion. you might say :withstupid:
and i must say, the guild is filling up also. we might soon need to tight up the invites. or we'll end up to big, and mayby with more than enough ppl for 3 raiding groups..don't think that is to smart.:blink:
 
edit: the only criteria I said he met, was having a friend in the guid
