Summer Tourney 07

As summer approaches (slowly but surely), perhaps a tournament might be an idea?  I wasn't here for the Easter session, did that go - ahead ok.......... or not?

I thought it would be best to post this early as there is quite a bit of work involved in organising it no? Also I figured as the last LAN has been quite recently there would be more cause to have a tourney, and that we have alot more regulars it wouldn't be hard to fill?  

Any takers?

(P.S I wouldn't mind helping organising:), unless there are specific Tourney Directors.)

I was thinking along the lines of CS, however this counts for everybody and both could be arranged, (one after the other)? I suppose getting a mix of games would be more entertaining and appealing to people who prefer one over the other.

What I meant by the LAN comment in my original post was that because one has just been, people wouldn't have too much on their plate to help with the organising of this. I'm assuming from what I have read of the previous tournaments, they are all held over the net. Also this would be for registered users only.

Edit: My main reasoning for writing this post, is to make sure that people are intersted. And It would be worthwhile doing. As I'm not sure if the Easter one went ahead.

Well I'm more than happy to try and joint - organise it with a bit of help from somebody else, If that's ok with the senior admins?  I've had a look over the previous arrangements of the Tourneys, and the process of setting them up.  

I would be up for it as well, and helping hand with the arrangements.

You quote me assuming I am an admin? I am not If you're thinking CS the first thing you should do is run your idea by Whitey. Toss him a PM.
