Is anyone else getting spammed on IM from him?
I get a number of stupid IM's each day, mainly asking when he'll get Bravo status (never at this rate).  :angry:

I did have a word with him yesterday when he interrupted a meeting I was in (I should have disabled IM), so hopefully it will reduce now.  He could be my first ever Blocked user!

I think the biggest problem is that his posts aren't very clear due to his english being only slightly better than my Latvian. He's enthusiastic and I believe he will learn if we are patient and explain clearly to him how we need him to behave. basically, we need to make a bit of allowance for his english and try and point him in the right direction.

PS he's getting on my tits too :eyebrow:

I get sometimes a few PM's from him if I've replied after something he posted.
For the rest on Steam if I have it on...
Atleast he hasn't got my MSN yet...:eyebrow:

Then again maybe not, another IM a few minutes ago.  This time I wasn't as polite.  I wouldn't mind if he actually wanted something but most of the time he says a few words and then doesn't reply.  Next time he's blocked.

His ability to stop multi posting is staggering tbh, he might be convinsed eventualy, but is it worth all the trouble? He seams to be a bit too dense, the english he types shows he could know enough to understand the simple warnings given to him.

As I understand it he is Finnish. Doorman could you (or your wife) write him something in finnish and explain to him how things work in the community? I don't think he is a bad egg. I think it is just a big language barrier with misunderstanding. If not feel free to expel him.

I've had a strange evening.

I was on Boomer, Doorman joined, I went AFK, getting beer, when I came back, Doorman had changed his name to some wierd Vald*** or summat.

The next thing I know, Whitewolf is going potty, he's saying some pretty nasty things to Ron...I haven't a clue what was going on, but \i told WW to calm down and take it to the forum...eventually he leaves, but keeps messaging me on friends.

I did try to save the HLSW console record, but HLSW crashed me to desktop rght in the middle of this nonsense.

If someone has the server logs or whatever, I'd be interested to see exactly what was said.

I think the guy needs a talking to, but I'm loth to get involved as I haven't a clue what was going on*

*This all occurred after the watershed..ie. 11.30 ish and I was well into my co-op wheat beer stash:rolleyes:

I think he may have been drunk. Being a Finn I thought he might find it amusing if I changed my name to -=[dMw]=-Valkoinen Susi which is simply White Wolf in Finnish. All that guff about 'not respecting my name' is young twit speak for 'I'm ****ed as a parrot' I wouldn't mind if the name was handed down from father to son over 12 generations, but he only changed it from Lurch or something, the other day! to think I tried to make him welcome here. He's a vituu (don't look it up I'll get banned)

I know that Doorman and Blunt are wery old and high admins on our clan, but I think that that wouldbe the reason to not act like that to freshmen??
If there's not going to be a change for this situation and they're not going to ask me for apologize, I think that it would be better if I'd leave the whle clan..
As you are the guy who's the highest admin and I know you best, I think that it would be you who would have to say about this thing to them..
If you think that it was fair against me, just say it and I would leave the clan..

Sorry but I find it quit a bit amusing reading some of his replies and can't wait for the serverlogs.
Ron, if you would have changed your name to anything Dutch I would have been honoured. Anyone up for changing all the names to something Finnish? Better not, I don't think he'd get the joke.
