on the last raid, sheepys damage meter showed these two were far from bieng helpfull, with lucian doing far more damage then they did

we should monitor their performance, if they result inadequite we should look for other raid members

and no one should say anything about this to any other member who doesnt have acess to /o

Doesn't surprice me. I have seen very clear tendencies for this when I have been in parties with them as well - neither of them can really do the amount of damage you would expect from their classes.

As we don't have any raid member rank, that would be kind of a wrong way to put it - but I do get what you mean. If they don't show any signs for improvement, we can have a talk with them and inform them that we can't prioritize them in the way the normal rotation system (when we get that up running) would suggest. Perhaps also suggest for them they they talk with some other guildies of their same classes (or post on the forum about it) and try to learn a bit from somebody else.
We could also give them the offer them that we ask somebody specifically in the guild (which whom we know is good with their class) to give them a quick crash course.

In order to assist with accurate performance measurement, make sure all of you are running Swstats to help synchronise the data better.  It is a real help in showing which spells people used, whether they are slacking on dispelling or decursing, total damage, overheals, which heals they used (for example this might explain why they go OOM so quickly if they using flash heal all the time) etc.  It is a hugely useful raid management tool if you look into the data logged.

Looking into things further:

Deloris:
Has one deep fire build with cold snap!  She could do with some changes there - send her to me if you want her to discuss them with me.  She is very well geared (she uses the same 5 craftable pieces I still use) and is pretty much fully enchanted, so there is absolutely no reason at all for her to be slipping down the damage meters or going OOM (OOM prob not helped by some poor talent choices).  Given her gear she should actually be ahead of Sheepher on the meters by some way.

Plight:
Plight is simply not that well geared and has relatively low +damage for a lock.  A top end lock has about twice the level of damage - he simply needs to go out and get better gear and socket & enchant it properly. If he is waiting for the epic drops, then he really needs to enchant what he has now to up his damage.  Based on what I see on his profile (gear & deep destruction build) I would not expect him to do much more than 70-80% of Sheepher's dps.

Hope this helps.

Thanks TL - really helpful TL :thumbsup2:

Guess it's not very likely that they'll improve anything on their own if we should wait and just give 'em a couple of more days, so we could perhaps just have a nice talk to them asap?
I mean, it would probably be better to have a friendly talk now, giving them some advice on how to improve, instead of waiting for another week or two, having to just totally lock them out of the raids.

The sooner we get 'em to start gear up/skill up the better!
Perhaps Oth has some in-depth feedback on Plight's build as well?

high spell dmg, no crit gear prefered, with deep affliction spec works wonders on warlock dps. Not too terribly effective single target, but bloody lethal with more targets.

Alternatively, but a lot less effective proven by the fact there are almost non raiding, is her current spec w/ geared similary to a mage (crit, hit, dmg)

Remember as well that Del and Plight go together.  I have a feeling that if we were tor eject one (Plight seems to be the more disappointing of the two, at least as far as gear is concerned), then it would be very likely that both will not show up.

Well, that's your choice, but at the end of the day you can't be expected to pick them both all of the time.  At the same time you should not be expected to drag down 8 other people where poor dps is concerned.  Raiding needs a commitment of some kind to maximising your gear and build for the benefit of the raid imo.

I'm not sure anyone is talking about 'rejecting' anyone, just talking about performance and deciding who might or might not ge tplaces I guess.  It's Teni;s call atm what he does.

Yea - give em another raid, and if the dps isn't sorted out, call them on it. It's only fair and reasonable.
