cbm match tonight on inferno

We need to vary our strategy, mostly as T, a lot against cbm. We haven't played them afaik on this map before. Still they have played here a lot and we at cbm so they may know some of our rushes e.g. sadako-one and the box planting closest to balcony at that bomb site.

One thing I have noticed though when playing at cbm on inferno is that they as CT tend to go very far forward and we might sneak by them with the right set of distractions.

I hope that we can field the team that we are going to use against cbm already at the practice. Would be very good.

I will be at the practice and I hope I have thought of some goodies until then.

i went on cbm server yesterday under a different name .......they were playing inferno........they were running through tactics for the match :wink:

they were concentrating on holding the right site as ct with 3......placing the other 2 and me spotting on the left.....as soon as the call was made the right site players rushed out of the arch and came up behind leaveing 1 to cover the site

this may all change but they were quite pleased with the result  :lol:  :lol:  :lol:

Nice one JAS     We'll think about counter strategies then, but in the mean time, can you try to describe where they were again?  If we get an idea of if they were 'the square' side of right/top bomb site, or defending it from spawn side etc.  The spotters who went new route side, where were you spotting from?  Middle, sniper's window, house?  More info please and then we'll try to come up with some taccies to suit them

i cant give much info as i was on the other side of the map most of the time

but dont send the bomb man alone as they do leave a man at each site

they seemed to hold up inside the right hand site with one spotting on the coridor who fell back into the route from spawn....the other 2 took up positions to shoot people at the bottom of the steps in a 3 way x-fire

A classic but still very effective strategy as T (especially on the first round) is to rush the right side while leaving one T on the ramp in the middle with a DEagle. The middle guy should stay back and avoid being seen until the right rush have been spotted. Then he moves up on the left side in cover by the box by the ladder and waits for the CTs rushing through middle from left site. The T must be cool and let all of the CTs run by until he starts firing.

A nice variation of this is to put the guy in the underpass in the middle that waits for the approaching CTs.

I have some other ideas also that I think we should discuss on the server.

I know this is not a political correct question: Are we going to field the best team possible tonight or just mix it up? Got the feeling from rebel the other night that they are really after a win and are going to field their best team. Could be bs just to try and scare us ....
