aran looks like a real tough nut

He's not so bad so long as you bring good DPS and interrupts.  Having a lock makes it easier with the adds, or any other combination of fears like priests etc.  2 locks in the raid allows 2 banishes and 2 chain fears which takes care of all adds.  He is significantly easier than he was, so just make sure you bring strong DPS, plan for interrupts and solid healing.  The plan for the adds will then see you through to a kill.

So Aran down to 17% on our best try yesterday :thumbup: . Adds seemed to be the real problem here. From my point of view we got very unlucky several times with the combination of him drinking mana (mass polymorph) and spawning adds at the same time. Seems to me our DPS needs to slow down or speed up if it appears they are likely to happen close together.
Think we will get him down next week :boxing: .

yes we should have stopped the DPS at around 45% Health and waited for the polymorph. He will go down next week if we don't get stuck on Curator and i don't really think we will get stuck there. We will go straight for chess next time though and back to Aran after the Chess.

Yeah, most of the times when the adds spawned Peukie and me where polymorfed, and when not i was down time before the adds spawned :sad:
 
I think slowing down the dps and allowing him to mass polymorph will do the trick since that way we can avoid the adds spawn joining the mass polymorph
