I have got a very strange prob since a few weeks.

Why i connect Baldric,Boomer ore Mh for the first time i get disconnected.
When i try it for the second time it works well,i never had this prob before and dunno what it is..

Maybe someone can tell me what the prob is.:g:

Only suggestion is to try the good old BLOB-file.

best place to look is http://support.steampowered.com/cgi-bin/steampowered.cfg/php/enduser/home.php but Pete's suggestion about the blob file sounds a good starting point to me.

well i did try del the blob-file but that doesn't seems too work..:blink:

Edit: funny thing is i connect too Boomer im in the game for 5 sec then i got connection prob and steam swap me back too starting screen steam it self.
I connect again after i got disconnect and there are no probs anymore,same counts for Baldric and MH...Thats just weird....

KK, I have exactly the same problem. Sometimes I will be able to connect to Boomer straight away and then after 5 secs the red "connection error" sign will come up and I will have to wait a while to reconnect because steam keep sayin "steam user id already in use on this server".

However other times It will work fine?! :blink:

I have no idea why either, but all I do now as I cant find a cure is to simply connect to a server (random one) let the connection error thing happen, and then join my fave servers.

Lol I have it LOADS. Usually take 3-4 attempts to connect. Steam loses connection for a while, after starting it up. If I wait after starting steam, say 1 minute after all start-up has quieted down, then it works. Hope this might guide you somehow.

I have noticed that you join the game 8 or so times Delan, I was wondering what it was - But all explained now!

Maybe it's something to do with Steam having memory issues?

i had the same problem.
sometioimes it worked, but nearly everytime ii connected to a server i disconnected automatically after a few sec.
i reinstalled the game but that didnt helped.
then i deinstalled the game AND deleted every file mmanually, because even after i deinstalled the game, there were a lot of files left (when you deinstall a game, then there are always files, for example savegames or updates or changings in the optionmenu..., which are still there).
anyway, after i deleted every file and installed the game new, i didnt had the problem anymore.

i mentioned it already, im a noob with pc- things, so im not sure if this will help:g: , but it worked for me, it just took a long time:byebye:

I'd recommend just trying to see whether reinstalling Steam would cure it, if not then it's got to be something to do with CSS i guess.
