Frag Hunting

I was really disappointed to see people who appeared to be frag hunting on Meathook last night rather than sticking with the team to complete the objective.  This is not acceptable!

As T, if the tactic is called (by the person with the bomb or the SL) at the beginning of the round to split up or cause a diversion, then that is the only valid reason you should split from the area of the bomber.  Defend the bomber with your life, it's not about you, it's about the team completing the map objective!

As CT, if the bomb is down, get there as fast as you can and defend it within a reasonably close proximity to the bomb.

If you want to go frag hunting, find another server and remove your dMw tags.  
If this continues on our servers, the culprits will at the very least be kicked from the server and be returned to Alpha status.

First of all you are talking about MH, k that is fine but think about the maps you have running on that server.
If these things happend all the time with dust2 or inferno or any old maps then i "could" agree with this post but now i won't. We play maps that most people don't even know. I pld a bit on MH yesterday and pld maps i havn't pld before or maybe once. And there are alot more people like me with that problem.
 
And also you are talking about a bomb only?? Why CT's have attacking maps aswell but only the T's get blamed for attacking...
 
And splitting up without a call of the bomber or the so called SL is a good thing. I will not stay near the bomber if we will just get shot by a full ct group as we had to stay together as no call was maked.. we destroy our gameplay and we don't use the map, as any map has more ways to get to your bombside or hostage area or even to the vip.
 
Well this is a bit how i think of it. Atm i feel to be left alone and don't see the point of comming on the server just to have some fun... this is getting a match server......... I know we are a TCS group but this is getting out of hand...

I think you missed the point of the post. Whitey is fully aware that there were quite a lot of players to which the maps were new. This is not what the post is about.
 
Recently on MH and Boomer some members have disregarded the main objective completely to go fraghunting. There is nothing wrong with splitting up and creating diversions but on e.g. inferno having the bomb down at B and then some CTs go from B to A and then continues toward house route to fraghunt i.e. going away from the bomb. However you try to put it there is no way to justify that. On office and office extended we have also observed Ts running all over the allowed zone back and forth just looking for kills.
 
Ninja Freak continuously yelled it at LAN IV, "There is no I in team" and that is what this post is about. Some ALWAYS go their own way irrespectively if there have been a call or not from bomber or SL. Rest assured Ice, if it was you we were talking about you would have a PM by now ... :byebye:

Last night I got detached from main group on one match and got site A just as T planted at B. Obviously the CT's all then turned and ran to B, as did I.
I shot two of them on the way to A.
But I wouldn't really class this as frag hunting.

Tactically sometimes the T with the bomb asks for a diversion, while the main group go to one site. I always assumed this was tactical also.
I maybe up a different tree to Whitey here.

Generally I think the attitude and banter is spot on, but If I was creating a problem for others I would prefer to be advised directly, so I could learn, and not  upset others, even if unintentionally.
I value my wings and don't want them clipped.:dmw:

I do feel guilty about something though can't quite put my fishy finger on it....

What you did as CT is fine and if the diversion is done as part of a team strategy, again that is fine.  I have sent a PM to those who were obviously frag hunting and not playing TCS but I want to make sure we stick to playing TCS and don't have solo frag hunters spoiling the game for the rest of us.  
No one will have their wings clipped without a formal warning.

Ice, if you don't know the maps, then stick with the people on your team who do.  Please read this thread and this as a reminder of what TCS is about.  I'm not saying anything new here, it's what we should be doing ALL the time.

Lol, I have died thousands of deaths online just for TCS. And I'm willing to do thousands more.
 
Thing is that if the bomber sometimes calls, he ends up the first to die sometimes on a bombspot (you all know I like rushes). Best thing would be if someone would know if he'd get the bomb the next round :g:.

was quite a bit dead last, and as ct in the "aztec map" i went off defending the same bomb site over and over again, even if it was me and acid_skass and sometimes me alone there

What you need are quality plans called early and executed with precision.
I think the 'rush up the middle and hide in their spawn' ploy  worked well, although none of us made it to their spawn :crying:.
