Results after Qualy:

dMrDeetz, dMrOldbloke, Aquilifer, dMrJas, dMrVobler,
dMrDoorman, zike, dMrLameduck, roudim,Rocket

In T1 Aquilifer and Oldbloke crashed and Oldie hit a sign that broke his suspension. Aquilifer got only minor damage. It is possible that LameDuck also was taken out in the following corner. Some say it was a green car...

Deetz soon pulled away from Aquilifer as Oldie started to work his way up the field.

This is a very difficult combination and people soon got in to trouble. Zike was the first to get seriously hurt after two chrashes. He disconnected. Soon after Lameduck was on his rollbar unable to continue. Jas entered the chicane on the straight too hard on one of the first laps. He rolled the car and broke his supension. He carried on several more laps until he did the same thing in the same chikane. Race over. About mid race roudim had a crash and disconnected. Rocket also disconnected.

As Aquilifer slowly pulled away Doorman and Vobler where fighting for several laps until Aquilifer made a mistake and they could catch up with him. But Aquilifer slowly pulled away again. This went on until Doorman pitted at lap 21. When Vobler stayed out for one fast lap and got out just in front of Doorman.

Toward the end Aquilifer made another mistake and Vobler managed to catch up with him. But with Deetz lapping at the same time it was impossible to get near enough to attack him for second place.

You're right, a tough one. For my part I had several really good battles with all manner of folk. Most enjoyable.
