Priest healing

Me n Spiri had an inpromtude officers meeting with TL after last nights raid, regarding the healing that was coming from crystaline. TL was shocked at the healing comming from him, well over 50% flash heals!

We need to mention to crys the way we need priests to heal in raids. BIG slow heals, ie greater heals.

Equipment, think that we may really need to push for him to get the primal mooncloth robe. TL noticed that this would dramatically improve his + healing and mp5. this is his gear at the moment

I can even make him some moon cloth if thats the problem

this is only a real concern as i believe spiri did double his healing on the prince kill!

aye. Will try to have a chat with crys when i get online and see him. will post here when i have. if some of the officers can manage it before me it would be ok. just post here afterwards. and i need better geard and to make more pots. and oils. marduck got better geard than me and more healing, so he was 200k abowe me, but that was as understandable. but not that i had double crys healing and mcD had 2,5times more healing.
And maybe we should make a nice checklist of potions and stuff that would be nice if ppl had in raid.

He could change around a few healing points too tbh in his talent build as he has some oddities in there. His main issue though is trying to compete with pallies on healing meters by using flash heal which means he goes OOM early. He needs to complete his primal mooncloth set (he just needs the robe) and then work on getting some Whitemend. Changing one or two bits of gear plus changing his style of healing would help a load.

Flash heal for priests is emergency healing, it is mana expensive and does not heal for a lot - and pallas and druids will beat you to it. CoH and Gr Heal are a priest's best friends,. From memory he used flash heal 54% of the time, PoH(***!!!) 10% of the time and GrH only 7% of the time. It is no wonder he is not healing much.

Also worth talking to him about his UI to see if ti is optimal for healing set up.

i just use emergency monitor from CTR.
and usually stand ready to heal main tank or a AOE'er if we're killing a AOE group and spam big heals on him (like sheepy when killing those groups in the beginning of Kara)..

Well, I guess this is the same deal as we earlier have had with Soulangel, Deloris and Plight (and perhaps more, don't remember).
They have at least seemed to pick up some new tricks at least, so hope it won't be a problem here either - good job folks

had a talk to crys.
he said: he needed 12motes of mana and a shitload of mooncloth.
and he will try to get there by himself. would take some help in making the mooncloth if someone was mooncloth specced (2for the price of making one) even tough i told him that me and sheepy would give the cooldowns for free.

he also need spellcloth for his manacloak. anyone spellcloth specced? (half resurces needed then)..

He said that he was doing mostly greater heals up to the last fight. but at last fight there wasn't many great heals that was needed untill the end.

I can produce 3 pieces of primal mooncloth every 4 days and a further 3 pieces of Spellcloth every 4 days.

Get him to send me the mats and I will donate 2 cooldowns (6 pieces of each).

comment for last night raid.
i don't even want to. but here it goes:
I think crys is afraid of pulling aggro at the start, so it's usually me healing main tank with big heals at the start. then i try to flash heal most of the raid keeping ppl up on HP, and some big heals to help keeping those who get dmg alive. but it don't take long till crys is low on mana and i heal like a mad man.. i feel like i do. and i'm potted with +healing pots mana oils and using manapots when i can and still cant heal all. if i don't help with big heals on tank he goes down fast. just like when on thrash last night G died when i was getting mana. and it took under 10sec from pull to death, and that was bad.
I know i got better gear than crys and dreaman(it seems like so atleast), and got vanguis to post me his healing meters:
spiritus 37% 1.54x.xxx
crys 26% 1.08x.xxx
dreaman a tad lower.
and crys got manaregen from dreaman also since i hardly was in that group. that is just bad..:taz:

that might add some help, i hope atleast it will. and i've gotten crys and dreaman to start to aquire some more pots and oils that might help.
crys should have a advantage when in group with dreaman. i just saw what adwantage i got on the pull of that boss when i was moved into the group.
