new member registration problem

last night we were playing with a guy called fotr*zoltan*uk.
everyone left for boomer, and as he'd been playing well and seemed to appreciate the gameplay, I spammed him the forum details etc.
he registered but didn't get a validation email so couldn't join us on meathook.
he contacted me through steam friends and I said I'd look into it for him.

He registered as "rondo" (which I can't find in member list)

please advise:)

edit: I tried emailing him via member profile and it says he has chosen not to receive emails. Maybe that is why he hasn't got a validation.

I have created a test account in the forum.
Gandy has confirmed registration email to me was sent
I have confirmed email was received by GMail but that it was put straight into the spam folder. As a lot of the issues seem to have been with hotmail accounts I wonder if the emails are getting put into spam folders there?

This sounds a lot like the trouble ghoule211 had when he originally tried to register as ghoule.

He may have been using Hotmail at the time.

He appeared as the most recent member to join on the bottom of the main page, but didn't appear in the members list or recieve the validation email.
